Lovely little property in a quiet village. All to a high standard and quirky. Only small issue was how warm the room was at night as it had been an extremely hot day.

We arrived unexpectedly on a Friday evening at the Carpenter’s Arms due to our dog being rushed to the veterinary hospital down the road. Ash and his team went above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much and they made a stressful time a whole lot easier. It is a lovely location and the pub is beautifully decorated. We had breakfast and evening meals at the pub and the food is superb, especially the lamb! We hope to visit again, but this time with our dog in much happier circumstances!

Our bedroom had a wet room and the toilet wasn’t separate. We did not like this, but I understand the reason behind them and it is personal preference

The welcome was good but had to ask for fresh milk and TV issues . and the food quality in the restaurant could be better . Had the duck but it was luke warm and the side was more like a hash brown . Poor dessert

Mattresses are great! Beds very comfortable, everything works. And it’s near my son’s house (a 5mn walk away!)

The bedrooms have a green light to point the way to an emergency exit and it is annoying at night.

The staff at breakfast were lovely especially Charlie he was so helpful and very friendly
