Hotel Smart Cruise

Very clean and comfortable

Not close to many restaurants or bars

We were very pleased with our experience at this hotel. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable! Thomas,the manager, was very helpful and responsive when I messaged him. He arranged transportation for us from the airport in Rome. The hotel is also conveniently located right by the cruise terminal. I would definitely recommend!!

Great little hotel for a pre cruise stay. Rooms were incredibly clean, hotel offered a shuttle to the cruise terminal and the location was fantastic.

The free breakfast consisted of juice, coffee and a pre-packaged pastry.

Large rooms and toilet. Clean and comfortable bed.

My room was facing the street which is quite busy. Double paned windows would have helped reduce the noise. Also, the hotel had no breakfast facilities though there were restaurants nearby.

I booked this hotel after checking many reviews. I particularly liked its proximity to the cruise port bus station (you get a free bus to your cruise ship and save a long walk in the heat) and it was genuinely only 2 minutes away. There was a good level of communication in advance from the hotel via WhatsApp including instructions on how to enter the hotel and the room with a supplied QR code (I was arriving after reception closed). I am not very technical but it was very easy. The hotel is a walk of 20-30 minutes from the train station and of course there are taxis if that’s how you arrive here. The hotel is small but very clean. The room was larger than other rooms I have had in European cities, with a comfy large bed., TV and plenty of power sockets, The bathroom in particular was large with a toilet, bidet and a huge walk-in shower. The hotel does not offer breakfast (though there was coffee and small pastries at reception) . I did notice some noise from adjacent rooms one night (I was here 2 nights) but mostly just voices and it didn’t last long. I really liked this hotel and would definitely return when next cruising out of Civitavecchia
