Clean. Very handy for cruise port shuttle bus. Comfortable.

Nothing. The only time I saw staff was when checking out as everything else is done with QR code but no hassle.

The room was very nice, clean and modern. The location was great. Easy to get to the cruise terminal. Also, easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

It was hard to get the QR key to work at first. Once I was shown how far to hold the phone from the reader, it worked great.

We booked this hotel for one night prior to a cruise based on the glowing reviews from past travelers. Nothing could have been further from what we found. If you absolutely despise human contact, crave the comforting aesthetic of a high-security medical facility, and have a burning desire to overpay for absolutely nothing, congratulations! You have found your paradise. By all means book this hotel, if you consider an automated, soul-crushing QR code reader to be the pinnacle of hospitality. It is perfect for misanthropes who find a warm "hello" from a human receptionist deeply offensive. Here, you can interact exclusively with cold, unfeeling plastic and automation. By all means book this hotel, if your favorite vacation activity is wondering whether you will get mugged stepping outside. The surrounding neighborhood completely lacks anything resembling charm, warmth, or basic infrastructure. It is an urban wasteland blissfully free of convenient shops, nice restaurants, or visual appeal. By all means book this hotel, if you find inspiration in the interior styling of a state prison or a sterile hospital wing. The design philosophy here is aggressively minimalist, featuring blank white walls and zero personality. It is the ideal environment if you want your vacation photos to look like a psychological thriller. By all means book this hotel, if you love paying luxury prices for the privilege of starving. Do not expect breakfast, you make your own tea or coffee, and the biscuits left in the room would make a basic discount airline proud. Whoever runs this hotel must have spent some significant amount in renovating the building. It is too bad that they didn't employ a designer especially a customer oriented one. They have successfully stripped away every comfort of modern travel while making sure your bank account still takes a massive hit. In short, book immediately if you want an overpriced, sterile cell in a sketchy neighborhood. For everyone else, run. One great plus was Thomas who showed up in the morning and took us for €10/pp in his van from the hotel directly to the cruise terminal. For that we are greatful and understand why the hotel is highly praised. If you board or disembark from a cruise, best advice is to not sop in Civitavecchia and move to your next destination.

The area had some good restaurants. The little amenities were a nice touch, using a QR code to get on and out was annoying . Catching different shuttles were all in an area around the corner and very convenient. Free shuttle to cruise port

The shower was kind of in the room and leaked terribly . Did not like the QRCode for entry

Room was well appointed,comfortable and very clean.Access was via a QR code as no reception however was able to contact hotel manager via whats app if required and his replies were very prompt. Only disappointment was that I had communicated prior to arrival that twin beds were required which hadn’t been arranged for our arrival.Transfer to cruise ship was available at extra cost to which was an advantage.

Could say it was a 8-15 minute walk to restaurants, but then I did need the exercise.

So clean and comfortable. Within a block from the shuttle buses to the port. Highly recommend
