Hotel Smart Cruise

Stayed here for 1 night before a cruise. What a great little find and facility. Communication: from the moment we booked to the day we left the communication from Thomas & Lucas was professional, informative, friendly and helpful. (Email £& WhatsApp) Transfer: Renato (hotel driver) was prompt and again excellent comms. The vehicle was clean, comfy, air con and water. We did the transfer from Rome in 40 mins. Super efficient. Room: large and modern. Fresh interior (smelt amazing). Great comfy double bed, with memory foam pillows (lovely touch). Wardrobe with hangers, safe, tv, mini fridge (water & juice) plus tea & coffee facilities. Bathroom was huge, clean and well maintained with lovely products and fluffy towels. Plenty of hot water. Hotel: hotel is mainly staff less as the main door and room work via QRcodes, so no worries about loosing keys. It felt very secure and safe. No issues at all. You are 2 min walk away from the cruise shuttle bus There is a lovely little pizza place on the corner. Very basic but delicious and hot. The small town is 5 mins walk away. This place has got it right.

The hotel was clean and modern and in a great location for the port. It was easy to access as well.

I did feel abit uncomfortable about the locking of the room. You use a barcode to enter the hotel and your room which is sent on the day of travel. However, once you are in the room if you want to go out, the room door doesn’t seem to lock behind you. You lock the room from the inside. I could be wrong and not looked at it correctly, but as you need a barcode to get in, there isn’t people just randomly in the hotel.

Location, cleanliness.

A little soulless as there’s few if any staff.

Our room was perfect and clean. It’s all self serve, so make sure you have QR code. I never received my email with QR code but a gentleman helped us immediately on speaker phone. Thomas was great, took us by van to our port (10 euros per person). I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay here last week. The hotel was very clean and we felt very comfortable there. The location is amazing if you want to near the port. It's also walking distance from the train. The entry code worked perfectly and the staff was very helpful all along the way.

The cleanliness,helpful staff and quiet was so welcome after a long day of flying. Both transportation from Rome and to the cruise port the next morning were seamless and comfortable.

Close to the port, however is no walking distance, it is needed to use the Schuttle that is not included.

The hotel is literally just around the corner from the cruise shuttle depot, nd where you can get a bus (pre-order this online, Bus Shuttle) to Rome. Just a 3 minute walk.

Very comfortable one night stay after our cruise. Excellent location very near the cruise port and also walkable into central Civitavecchia.

It didn’t offer breakfast, but that didn’t really bother us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby.
