Southern Nights Motel

I really like the location in a small town not far from major roads. Was nice and quiet and the air conditioner worked great. The owners are friendly and the room was very good for the money! Parking is good. Have a washer and dryer you can use. Fast food restaurant next door. I will stay there whenever I pass by!

We were disappointed with Southern Nights Motel. The room was dark and quite dated in the furnishings. Both the tub and the bathroom sink, drained very slowly. When going to plug in our phone chargers, we noticed that there were no switch plate covers on the outlets. Funny but we noticed that the ice bucket/tray were from "Hampton Inn". The air conditioning unit was hanging out of the wall and looked like it had seen better days. Fortunately the unit did keep our room comfortable. The location for this hotel is wonderful and the CharBroil restaurant and McDonalds close by, were both great food options.

I stayed one night so I could stop off and have supper with relatives at the Charbroiler Restaurant nearby, which has very good food btw, and just wanted one king bed. I was given a first floor room and was pleasantly surprised to find a sofa and chair as well as a desk and chair for it. bed was nice and comfy, I was probably asleep in five minutes that evening, up early the next morning and on my way home. Def would stay there again.

Recently stayed at Southern Nights Motel in Waldron. Just one night while traveling. The motel is two story with exterior stairs to second floor. Exterior corridor. The room was clean, necessities provided and they have a microwave and fridge. The motel is located within walking distance to McDonalds and another restaurant. Gas is close by and a new grocery store is nearby as well. Check in went smooth, no electronic keys, just a good old fashioned motel with owners who care about the property. This is not an upscale "hotel", but it does provide a great place to stay, clean rooms and easy access to Hwy 71 for traveling.

We stayed here April of 2017 and were very pleased with our experience. The owners were very nice folks and friendly people. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable. The location is convenient. We plan on staying here again. Mr. & Mrs. from Missouri

I didn't find this hotel listed on the TA mobile app so I had no idea what to expect and you never know with these small town hotels but this is a good place and I would say very above average for a small town hotel! The Wi-Fi worked great, good selection of tv channels, bed fine, that's all I need. It seemed like it was freshly painted inside. Anyway, the room we had was great and the price is certainly right! There is a McD's right beside it and a, I think, Mexican place but it was closed on the sunday night we were there.

This little motel is a real gem. We went for a bike ride and ended up in Waldron Arkansas, population 3,000 plus or minus. There were only 3 choices and after looking at the outside of each we chose Southern Nights Motel. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of both the outside and inside of the rooms. It included one king size bed, cable tv, a coffee maker, mini fridge, and free wifi, it also has an outside pool but it was already closed down for the season. The rate for one night was $52.00 plus taxes. We would definitely stay there again. Very satisfied!

We recently were on vacation, just traveling and seeing what Arkansa had to offer. We were on the homeward bound end of our trip. We were tired. Your Hotel was given a good rating. We pulled in late. The Lord gave us your last room , no smoking. Very clean. God's blessings on your Hotel.

I was here with a group of friends during a motorcycle trip. The room was clean, the bed was fairly comfortable and the staff friendly. The only drawback is that the air/heat unit in my room was ineffective and ran all night. Also, the handle on the shower faucet spun and would not adjust the temperature. However; a mention to the manager the next morning and it was fixed for my next shower. The price is low ($69) per night, so as long as you don't expect to walk into a 5-Star room, you can rest easy. We will keep this on our list as a spot to stay while on our motorcycle trips.

I was in town as part of the cast filming a movie. We all stayed at the Southern Nights. People were very friendly, WiFi worked, rooms were clean and well stocked. I would stay again if I were to return to the town.
