Southern Nights Motel

If you want a nice quiet night's sleep, DO NOT stay here. The walls are paper thin . I was there on a Saturday night and the room above me and the one adjacent to me had parties going on in them. There was loud stomping from 8:30 PM until 3;30 AM in the room above me. I called the front desk twice and they did nothing. In fact, she told me on the last call that I could come check out early if I was not happy. Guests and visitors came and went all night to some of the rooms. I got no sleep all night. Other problems that I encountered - very slow internet and it went completely out for several hours - bed was not that comfortably - tub was rusty around the drain - very low water pressure and the hot water was only lukewarm at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The location was convenient in the middle of town.

The room smelled like smoke and there were interesting stains on the sheets.

I just finished spending about 6 weeks at this motel (off and on) for work. The owners are very nice and helpful, the rooms are nice, clean and new with nice furnishings/carpeting and flat screen tv, free and fast wifi. Plus you can walk next door to the McD's if you need a biscuit or coffee! I will definitely stay here again if working or traveling through the Ouachitas.

Owners/Managers very nice and accommodating, Great location for “riders” after a long day. Located within 50 yards of a good restaurant as well as a McDonalds/convenience store with gas pumps. Once you get off the bike for the day no need to get back on, just relax. Rooms are comfortable and very affordable. Definitely will be back to stay.

Fabulous owners, a lot of bang for the buck. they care about guest and the upkeep of the property. anything goes out they fix immediately, they truly care, and care a great deal about the guest. friendly guest service 24/7, coinvent to restrruants I will for sure stay here again.

Nice location between Hot Springs and Fort Smith, especially when traveling north from Hot Springs or east Texas. Clean rooms, fair price, friendly staff. Two restaurants and a Pizza Hut close by. Extremely convenient for Hwy 71 travelers.

This motel looked to be the best choice in Waldron. It was very out dated, the doors deadbolt didn't work, felt quite vulnerable. Lot's of noise going on all night. Sounded like car racing on the highway and the plumbing from above was very loud. The owners were pleasant.
