The Grand Resort and Spa

I wanted to like it there! Very tired property, it looks like it has seen better days. The room was insanely expensive for something that hasn’t been renovated in decades. Sadly very few of these hotels left and it looks like they are trying- there was noise from the renovations even on the weekend. The bed was uncomfortable, the pools cold and the crowd felt kinda tired just like the property.

Very pleasant short term stay.

What I loved most was the landscape, pools, hot tubs and atmosphere. It’s very close to drive to Wilton Manor and very close to walk to the beach and shopping. For the price it is worth every dime. What I least liked was the level of attention to the rooms. Very dated and below par on quality. Not even pictures on the walls. The mini fridge didn’t have a freezer inside so we lost some ice cream and the Roku TV was on a very small tv and just stopped working. Seems the property could use a little investment in the interiors because everything else is great!

The staff is beyond friendly and a very welcoming environment for all! Although clothing optional it's not mandatory and never felt uncomfortable!

Have been to the spa at The Grand several times and stayed there over the years as well. The spa was upgraded during COVID times and looks wonderful. I got a body scrub and a massage. I was overdue and it was excellent. Rob is the best! You can also hang out in the common grounds and pool area for the day with a service which is a plus. Look forward to my next visit.

This was a perfect quick getaway from the cold in NYC… thanks for the perfect lazy and sunny long weekend! Continently located with great rooms, attentive staff, friendly guests… what more do you need. I hope to return soon. See you next time!

Place was great.

This is the fifth time that I have stayed at the Grand/Worthington properties. It has gone downhill. They aren't updating any of the furniture indoor and outdoor. The lounge chairs by the pool are covered by a flimsy cushion that slides off the chair. The couch in our suite was the same with thin cushions that slid off the couch. The furnishings looked like frat house furnishings of hand me downs. The dresser drawers fell out of the dresser. Also, the cleaners asked every day if we wanted them to clean. Just clean! When they did "clean", they didn't even wipe down the tables that had crumbs on them. They just made the bed (not changing the sheets) and provided fresh towels. Their idea of a happy hour is wine and beer with no entertainment. I miss the days of dancers or guest appearances. The music went in and our all day in the gym and by the pool. They are just letting it go, because there aren't many options anymore. Go Airbnb. You're better off and cheaper. I even complained to them first and offered them the opportunity to respond before writing this, but they couldn't be bothered.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Grand Resort Fort Lauderdale! We stayed in the Worthington. The staff was very welcoming. Our room was a little dated but well maintained. I did notice that they are updating many of the rooms. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, great dining options, and just a 10 minute drive to Wilton Manor. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a fun-filled vacation, I highly recommend The Grand Resort Fort Lauderdale! We will definitely return!
