Hotel Of Wizardry

Suite was lovely and spacious but would expect so due to price. Great that parking was included. Staff were friendly during issue with booking

There were no staff there at all fur duration. Bed was uncomfy, curtains didn’t cover the window, shower was poor, WiFi wasn’t working which was bad for special needs child.

Very nice staff and gave free bottles of water. Comfortable stay and always willing to help, also provided electric heater. Beds were very nice. Location is nice, not too loud at night. Very close to beach. Parking was also easy. Got a very long parking permit from the owners.

Heating was off first day, no handwash in toilet. Wifi not working. But these were temporary issues. No blinds in windows so can be a bit bright when trying to sleep. Otherwise very comfortable stay.

The service from Katie, very helpful. She offered to cook our own food for our child, who doesn't eat food from outside. She totally understood our child's needs. Places where children/adults with different abilities are respected are much needed.

Everything was fine.

The grandchildren liked the themed room.. The room and furniture is tired looking. Ensuite good as long as you are not a big person. Had your own key to come and go at your own leisure. No breakfast facilities at the hotel but it is across the road another hotel. Not included in the price.

A lot of money for something that needs refreshed.

It was close to the seafront

No host....at any point, found a sewing needle on the floor of the kids room. Black hairs over the bathroom floor that would appear after walking around the room so I'm guessing it wasn't hoovered to well prior to changeover. Shower head was broken, curtains kept falling of the rails. No room refresh at any point had to call for clean cups and coffee, sugar, milk. Managed by an abrupt woman who seemed very inconvenienced when approached on the number provided. I will never go back there and will never recommend to anyone. Do not waste your money.

The local great, comfortable beds friendly staff on phone

Window's in toilet and near single bed that led to another building who could look in via a clear curtain. No staff on sight, heating was minimal room got very cold. Breakfast available in building next door which made no sense as breakfast room was available at hotel just not being used anymore, bit of a waste. Room stayed in was extra as only three but our way was made into forth room. Stuff covering one of windows was duct taped to ceiling 🫤. Was okay stay but not very themed considering it's wizardry Definitely recommend they invest in making it more magical especially for kids and part of the theme, and bring it back to a nice staying standard that's worth the prices. All in all okay for 1st time experience will look for nicer hotel next time.

Was clean but needs updating sofa was broken and mattress in bedroom needs replacing apart from those few things all in all was a pleasant stay

The space in the rooms, shower in each is brilliant you have kids , tv in each room. The mini. Fridge was so helpful in respect to having healthy snacks . The location right next to the beach , arcade, high street and aquarium also have a large park and green area at the end of the street is Fantastic for everybody including a diverse range of disability’s

Nothing to grumble about

My children are big fan of HP so I was looking for something that they will like anywhere in England, I found this hotel and since it’s near our favourite restaurant in GY (Columbia Taverna) I say why not. The host was very accomodated and helpful. We love the decor, my children loves their room and the lounge.
