Timbri Hotel San Francisco, Curio Collection by Hilton

We had a lovely stay at Timbri. The facilities are fresh and our room was clean with all the amenities we needed for a 6-night stay. We used the gym, too, and it had what we needed. My only gripe was that we reserved a Skyline Superior Room (which I thought would be upper floors) and instead we were assigned a lower floor. No big deal because our room was prime (just lacked a view). Newcomers should research the neighborhood before booking. It’s lively and harmless.

Property was great but the area is sketchy

Hotel is great but Turk Street is an issue. The street is considered the worst in the city due to drugs, homeless, and crime. Its loud and just uncomfortable.

Clean and modern hotel with a great rooftop bar and super friendly staff. Conveniently close to Powell station for easy transit to anywhere in the city. The area around the hotel can feel a little rough, but overall great stay!

There was a tec support on premises to help with WiFi

Too close to the Tenderloin, questionable loiterers near the hotel. Good thing there is security at the main entrance. Walkable to Union Square and transit if without a car.

My room was not cleaned the first full day i was there even though i did not have a “do not disturb” sign on door. and i was out all day. had to ask for it the next day. pillows are not comfortable and they’re quite thin. otherwise room was comfortable. and hotel overall very clean and quiet.

The hotel was nice, check in a breeze it’s just a area across the street that’s a little sketchy
