Timbri Hotel San Francisco, Curio Collection by Hilton

Excellent hotel, great service! The only thing I didn't expect was the extra city transient tax per night, that is charged to your card upon check out. Other than that, I will return!

Food at restaurant was good as was the service. There were 3 maintenance items - shower handle set screw was off, blinds would not open and close because of tangled chains, manual door lock was loose and would not open.

The room was great with a good view. There were a few people loitering area the but not a big deal. The hotel was very walkable to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping.

My daughter and I had a great time at the Timbri hotel. I would absolutely recommend to others, great staff and nice rooms. I'd stay here again

I'm so so glad we chose the Timbri for our stau on our way to and from our cruise out of San Francisco! It was super close to both the train, bus, and trolley systems. Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The maintenence guy even brought up a pair of pliers to help my husband fix a messed up piece of our suitcase one night. The coffee shop at the hotel was yummy and affordable. The neighborhood isnt great, but not as bad as some people made it out to be. There were some homeless and druggies scattered around but we felt safe walking around together during the day and never had issues. Definitely worth p

Excellent location, the room and the hotel were clean, excellent service from the hotel staff. The reception staff are very kind and willing to help. Located in the city center, near the hotel there is a train and bus station.

Close to the Warfield

The staff was amazing and super friendly from our valet experience to checking in and out. The hotel was very nice and our room was beautiful and spacious. I was concerned after reading other reviews about the neighborhood, but once inside I felt very safe staying there with my teenage daughter. You are unable to access the hotel entrance without your key card and again your key card was required for the elevator’s. We were in town for a concert so used an Uber to get to the Chase Center and back and there was a very distinct difference from the homeless during the day to when we got back around midnight. You definitely would not want to be walking in the area at night. Overall it was a great experience and I have already booked a room with the Timbri again for a concert we are going to in November.

The area is not the best but our visit couldn’t have gone any better.

Loved the spacious, well outfitted room in this new hotel. Double paned windows, very quiet. Great shower, excellent water pressure, plenty of hot water. Some might find the area immediately surrounding the hotel a bit off-putting, given the homeless presence. I never felt unsafe. The location is excellent. Just a block from BART and MUNI stations and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Amazing views from their rooftop restaurant where the food and drinks were quite good.
