Absolutely everything was an amazing place

Our stay at Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres was nothing short of exceptional. The purpose of the trip was to celebrate my 40th birthday with relaxation and luxury. While the resort itself is beautiful, what truly sets this property apart is its people. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond to create a relaxing, personalized, and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived at the marina, the staff welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that immediately set the tone for our vacation. Although I unfortunately cannot remember everyone’s names, the marina team was wonderful and kicked off our stay perfectly. Our butlers, Edgar and Erick, were outstanding. They anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them and ensured every detail of our stay was seamless. Rhitik, the Guest Experience Supervisor, exemplified the resort’s commitment to service and guest satisfaction. The food and beverage experience was equally impressive. Christian’s mixology skills were incredible, and many of our favorite cocktails came from trusting his recommendations. In fact, one of our biggest pieces of advice to future guests is to ask the staff for their food and drink recommendations. Some of our most memorable discoveries came directly from their suggestions. The quality and variety of the food exceeded our expectations, which is hard to do as well traveled foodies. We especially appreciated the authentic Mexican offerings throughout the resort. Some standout dishes included the incredible sopes from La Cocina, the snapper in lemon sauce at Spezia, the Tom Kha Gai soup at Sake, the perfectly prepared filet at La Vista, and the delicious poblano mole offered at the Unik breakfast service. Every bite we enjoyed at Cacao was exceptional, and we looked forward each day to the Amarena gelato, specialty coffees, and creative beverages. A special thank you to Jorge and Cesar at Spezia, Oscar at La Vista, Ruben during dinner service at Unik, and Eric during breakfast service at Unik. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine kindness elevated every meal. The entertainment team deserves tremendous recognition as well. Freddy, Isaac, and April brought energy, fun, and personality to every activity. I also really enjoyed the yoga class in the Temple with Chris. They all struck the perfect balance between entertainment and relaxation. Poolside service was exceptional thanks to Wilma, Matilde, and Carlos, who always seemed to appear at just the right moment with a smile, a fresh drink and a the most incredible poolside bites. One of the highlights of our trip was the catamaran ride to and from the resort with Captain Nacho and his crew. Their professionalism, hospitality, and enthusiasm made for an unforgettable experience. The spa was another standout. Charet provided one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced and contributed greatly to the overall sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. Finally, thank you to everyone at Cacao, whose service, attention to detail, and culinary talent made every visit special. I’ll be dreaming about my daily cappuccino and amareno gelato until we return. Luxury resorts can have beautiful rooms, stunning views, and excellent amenities, but what truly distinguishes Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres is its people. Every interaction felt genuine. Every employee seemed invested in making our vacation special. Their friendliness, warmth, and dedication to hospitality created an atmosphere that made it difficult to leave and impossible to forget. We arrived expecting a luxury vacation. We left feeling like family. We cannot wait to return.

We had an amazing experience in Isla Mujeres! The island itself is beautiful, but what truly made our trip memorable was the exceptional service we received. Erick and Wedinzon were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. They were friendly, attentive, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitudes and genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. They are a true asset to the team and played a huge role in making our vacation so enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway!

Impressions Isla Mujeres did not disappoint one bit! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort was absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the level of service was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. A special shoutout to our Butlers Wedinzon &Erik who made our stay even more memorable. Their attention to detail, friendly personality, and commitment to making sure we had everything we needed were outstanding. If you’re staying here, be sure to ask for Wedinzon you won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing Isla Mujeres getaway.

This resort was absolutely perfect! Beautiful, quiet and 5 star service from everyone. The restaurant options were diverse and all served delicious cuisine. All staff members go above and beyond. I would like to give a special shout out to our attentive butlers, Amairani and Angel who were excellent. Other staff members that made our trip special were Ratik, Oscar and Erika among countless other bartenders waiters , housekeeping and hostesses! We will definitely plan a return visit.

We had an incredible stay at Secrets Impressions. The resort is absolutely stunning, and the level of service exceeded our expectations. Our butlers, Zelma and David, were outstanding. David, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. We had booked an oceanfront room, but some bushes were obstructing part of the view. David promptly arranged to have them trimmed, allowing us to fully enjoy the breathtaking ocean front views from our balcony while having our morning coffee. The food and service at every restaurant were excellent. Our favorite lunch spot was Unik, which consistently delivered outstanding meals and service. We also enjoyed a wonderful bike tour with April, who shared interesting history and insights about the island. One of the highlights of our trip was renting a golf cart and exploring the island. It is a beautiful, safe destination with plenty to see and enjoy. We highly recommend this resort and are already looking forward to returning. One thing to note is that there are approximately 80 stairs between the beach and the lobby. We didn’t mind at all—it was actually a great workout and added to the charm of the property. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation experience.

Overall we have been to several of the Secrets resorts and now both Impressions, and overall we had an excellent time here! The best asset of the whole resort was the staff as each and every person was extremely accommodating, pleasant, and very helpful. The communication with Cynthia upon booking and arranging spa treatments prior to arrival was seamless and very comforting to be able to have everything ready to go for my wife's 40th bday as we were there only 3 nights. Our butler, Amy, was exceptional throughout the stay and communicating constantly through WhatsApp to make our stay great. The overall resort itself was spotless and extremely well maintained. The attention to detail is fantastic and as compared to every other resort we have been to, this one felt the "smallest" in regards to never waiting in line, always having whatever privacy or space you wanted, and seemingly having the place to yourself. The fitness center had everything you would need for a good workout and to sweat out all the drinks and food to make you feel better! I would definitely give the staff and resort itself more than 5 stars. As for the food and restaurants, the staff again was amazing and the ambience was cool throughout. The overall food itself was not very good in our opinion. We ate La Spezia first and the pastas were OK. Second night was Wildfire Grill, and this was definitely not our favorite dinner. The NY strip was awful with almost no taste and the grilled octopus and shrimp was not very good either. The 3rd night was our "romantic dinner" that took place in the Wine Cellar due to the weather (usually it is outside somewhere I believe), and most of the food was OK but the beef once again was fairly awful. The ambience was neat and but I would not purchase this item unless it was included (which ours was due to reserving with AMEX Platinum). The pool/beachside tacos and food was good as well and honestly our favorite place was Cacao, the 24 hour cafe, for coffees/snacks throughout the day. We got a 50 minute couples massage and I would say it is one of the best massages I have ever had. The treatments prices were definitely higher than they should be and the hydrotherapy is very underwhelming, but the massage itself was fantastic! Overall, the uniqueness of arriving/departing on the catamaran, the absolutely outstanding staff, the "small" feel of the resort itself, and the beauty of the resort makes this a perfect place for a short getaway and a place to simply relax. I honestly enjoyed the other Impressions Moxche better due to food and having a little more agenda during the day and entertainment at night. I will still give this place 5 stars because of the people itself, but for the price and food quality, it falls slightly short of the actual 5-star rating. This place is worth visiting as it is simply beautiful and extremely relaxing with impeccable service!

The resort is stunning, tranquil and calming. From the moment you board the catamaran to Isla you know you are in for a special experience. The ocean views are unmatched. The aesthetic is culturally relevant, intentional and beautiful. The food is outstanding (particularly breakfast and Unik and lunch at Spezia). We were not fans of Sake. I want to thank out butlers, Edgar and Erick for taking exemplary care of us, every need was met with promptness, care and kindness. I want to thank Alice and Jesus at the spa for a wonderful massage and care during hydrotherapy. Finally, Frankie from entertainment was absolutely outstanding (such a sweetheart) going above and beyond multiple occasions during our short stay to provide kindness, care and amazing opportunities to enjoy our stay. Thank you to managment for all the birthday treats, really the best i have been celebrated in all my travels, so special. Would recommend renting golf carts to tour the island, spending time at Playa Norte (gorgeous beach) and the bike ride offered by the resort. Overall, a wonderul stay. If you’re looking for a ton of activities and partying probably not the place for you, but if you desire tranquil rest, refreshment and soul care, this is the place. We don’t want to leave.

This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel, and we travelled all the way from the UK back to Mexico because it holds such a special place in our hearts. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with plenty of choice and exceptional quality throughout our stay. What truly makes this place special, however, is the people. David and Zelma, our butlers, have become incredibly special to us and always go above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Franco from the activities team never fails to put a smile on our faces, and from the moment we stepped onto the dock, we had the privilege of being welcomed by Pablo, whose warmth and kindness set the tone for another amazing stay. Each of them made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Returning felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming back to see old friends. The attention to detail is second to none. The team always goes above and beyond with thoughtful personal touches and special surprises that make every stay memorable. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests and take immense pride in creating an exceptional experience. Thank you to everyone for another unforgettable stay.
