Lumina at Noma Condesa Mexico City

I liked the fact it was a proper apartment with space. The area is quiet and safe, nice street with trees The kitchen had most things you need to cook a simple meal /breakfast. It was good to be able to iron. Communication to check-in and out is fluid. They provide coffee and a coffee maker.

The bed is very big but unfortunately the mattress is not comfortable. The noise coming from the floors below, at 4am a neighbour decided to do a video/ phone call which woke us up, we could hear it. All apartments face an internal patio area which is narrow like a tunnel and the acustics is poor. The wash basin and space round it is small in comparison with the rest of the apartment. Unless you go upstairs you don't find out about the terrace. After 4pm when the cleaning lady leaves, how do you access the space? The door is locked. It appeared as a hotel when we booked through the platform. IT IS NOT A HOTEL. There is no lift which is not a big problem but when you have big suitcases after being in Mexico for nearly 3 weeks, it is a hassle.

The location was great. Easy check in no keys to carry around .

No elevator but not a deal breaker.

The lady doing the cleaning was amazing in providing help and helping us with indications to visit places.

Amazing location. Very Clean. The house keeper/ contact was very lovely and helpful.

The bed was a bit soft for my partner and I but they may be ok for others as we need a very firm mattress.

We arrived at night after 30 hours travelling (so we were pretty tired and grumpy by then!), had no trouble accessing the front door to the building, but had trouble accessing the apartment door with the code. Luckily we were able to contact the hosts and they gave us access to the next door apartment for the night, then fixed the problem the next day.
