GLOBALSTAY. Elegant Downtown Apartments

The building location was ok and easy to find from the airport, the decor and style of the apartment was nice. Having a washer and dryer was a plus.

1. Parking said free/included on booking listing, but we had to pay $20 per day. I feel we paid more for this unit considering we thought parking was included, until we got an email saying we needed to pay for parking prior to arrival. 2. The unit location was not good. It was loud, the train, the street noise all night long. You had to stretch from the balcony to "see" the water view. Listing was very misleading. 3. Having to fold bathroom laundry upon arrival to have towels to use was unacceptable. Rugs in the bathroom were so thick that you couldn't close either door with out them getting stuck. 4. Kitchen not having a measuring cup to cook with was inconvenient. Needs a bigger trash can in the kitchen, the size was the size of a bathroom trash can. Not ideal for 4 people. 5. Not knowing what "unit number" we actually were booking via site upon reservation confirmation. And when we messaged to ask we just got emailed a link with 300 unit photos of multiple units. That was annoying because my family wanted to see it prior and we couldn't get an answer from Global. Very disappointed in the lack of communication from Global about unit questions prior to arrival. 6. Key fob wouldn't work to get to the garage, so other people had to use theirs for us. 7. A TV would have been nice in the bedroom, hooks to hang items would be a good idea for purses, light jackets, etc. 8. Front closet was full of cleaning supplies, rugs, etc. so it was not usable. Bedroom closet was half filled with extra linens and on shelf so we could only use half of that closet to hang clothes. There were no dressers in the bedroom to use or set suit cases on. 9. Lamps, fake tree and other items were dusty so it didn't feel as clean as it could have been. 10. Pull out sofa was NOT comfortable, all you could feel were the mattress springs in your back. An inflatable bed would have been more comfortable. 11. I would rate this specific unit a 3.

It was clean, equipped, and centrally located for my travel purposes. Their communication was very convenient, and they were helpful for late check-out.

The check-in process is tedious and inconvenient for international travellers, who usually have at least 20-hour flights on average.

Terrrible all around. Communication with the host. The check in process was by far the most difficult thing ever. You have to pick up the key at a lock box that is located two blocks away then walk back to check in I called the “hotel” 20x and never got a single call back. All around the worst

This was the worst place i ever stayed at. All around bad.
