Lovely apartment by the Hillwood Park-Free Parking

Fridge wasn’t working, toilet cistern took too long to reload with water, place needed a deep clean

The apartment has a charming and minimalist aesthetic, located in a quiet area near Hillwood Park, which makes for a peaceful stay. However, several issues detracted from the experience. While the location and aesthetic are pleasant, the technical issues with the heating and refrigerator need to be addressed to ensure a more comfortable and hassle-free stay.

The biggest problem was the heating system. It kept turning off by itself, causing the temperature in the apartment to drop frequently, which made the stay less comfortable, especially during colder times. This also impacted the availability of hot water, which was inconsistent and often unavailable when needed. Additionally, the refrigerator had a light on, but it wasn’t cooling properly. As a result, our food spoiled during the stay, which was very inconvenient.

We like the location. A very quiet neighborhood. Easy access to major attractions.

The refrigerator did not work. It says sleeping for 6. However, the 6th person had to sleep on the loveseat. A bit uncomfortable. If it were a pull out bed it would be better. I had a van and the parking was a bit tight. Maybe trimming back the hedges and move the metal stakes would be helpful. I was afraid to scratch the rental van. The water heater stopped working and had to be reset. Additionally, if there was a book to know when the trash day was and what goes in each trash can would be helpful to those that do not use 4 different cans for trash.

We were happy with good beds and the TV chairs with supports. Nice that there was a key box. Especially when you arrive in the middle of the night as our flight was very delayed

The apartment seemed a bit worn. The toilet could not flush properly.

Place seemed fine. Foyer leading in was dirty and smelly but apartment was in good condition but the toilet didn’t flush and there was no hot water. We took Luke warm showers and had to fill the tank of the toilet to flush it. Called the help hotline… they sent me a list of stuff to check and told me since I was there for one night leaving early they’d refund me. They ghosted me. Haven’t heard a word from them about a refund.

The location was easy to get to town centre they were local shops

The cooking utensils were not acceptable, there was not enough seating for the end of the day. The pictures did not totally reflect the the area there was no dishwasher or tumble dryer as advertised , the shampoo was of a mixed brand put together which I didn't use the house could do with a update better cooking utensils there was only 2 desert spoons, no tin opener , it could do with being decorated

Instructions on how to find the lock box were quite accurate but the code did not match. Nobody answered the emergency number provided , maybe because it was a Sunday? Good God we used the interactive chatbot of Hotels.com which managed to get through the property's manager and provided us with the correct number. Good space with three bedrooms a spacious living room and small garden, however the property did not cater for 6 people like we booked. There were 2 double beds, a single bed and 2 recliner sofas but not sofa beds. So property sleeps 5 not 6. Also, there were no bedsheets in beds. We slept directly on the mattress protector and covered with blanket covers - which had visible stains on them. The kettle did not work - we has to boil water in one of the pans.
