Lovely apartment by the Hillwood Park-Free Parking

Good location, nice and clean apartment. Main essential were available

The kettle wasn't working, it was difficult to open/close the back door The toilet was flushing too slowly.

We ordered 3 bedrooms for 6 adults. There were only 5 beds. TV doesn't works.

Nothing!

Everything! The property is terrible. In a terrible area. Very dated. Mouldy windowsills in every room. Blinds that did fit or close properly.

Size of space, beds were fine.

Internet was weak at times caused loss of transmission. Yard was overgrown and location was further away than expected but the bus system was excellent.

There is nothing to like in this property and it's a scam, should be absolutely avoided and be ready to be ripped off.

The property would make you feel like staying is a desolate neglected council house. Extremely unclean, patches of hairs and dirt every where. Miserable plumbing. Bathroom basin takes ages to drain. In the WC once you flush you need to wait minimum 10 mins to be able to flush again. This house doesn't have a dishwasher. The utensils kept were awfully dirty and unhygienic. Did not even had a basic kitchen roll. I have seen reviews people complaining since Dec 2023 that the electric kettle lid is broken. But the management is so incompetent and ignorant that the same kettle is still there in June 2024. It's so dangerous that I almost poured boiling water in my hands. This property claims to accomodate more 6 people but they have skillfully concealed the fact that it has only one bathroom and none ensuite. One must look at the backyard garden, overgrown grass, a dying drying rack and an awful balcony with rusted metal tables and chair. Takes just seconds to depress your entire Edinburgh experience. I would have ignored everything if it was a budget one but looking at what you pay is just not right. I would also complain to the council that this property is inhabitable, miss managed and should be delisted.

Location to Hopetoun house was good. We needed a base to make up wedding flowers for friends. Travelling from Lancashire we needed space which the apartment gave us.

3 couples stayed. 1 room with a single bed wasn't ideal. Limited kitchen utensils and kettle lid broken which could be dangerous. Not the end of the world though.

Location: Very close to food and McD and other shopping area. Almost next door to the Hillwood Park. Close to the Edinburgh Zoo. About 15min drive to the city centre. Yet it is located in a residential area. Facility: Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with tea and coffee and sugar and salt. There’s a welcome drink as well. All basic utensils are available. There’s a washer. But no dryer. Everything is as listed. Bathroom: Very clean. Nice towels. But no toiletries were provided - that was the only disadvantage. Parking: Off-street on-site exclusive parking - big enough for a SUV. The photos are very representative. Please use the YouTube video to find the keys and to setup the water pressure and the temperature controls. Some reviewers have mentioned some issues just because they didn’t check it out themselves. Overall a nice home. I’ll visit again.

We reserved for 6 people, but there was a sleeping place for 5. One of us had to sleep on the recliner sofa, without bed linen.
