I checked in at 3pm and checked out 3pm

The location was probably the best on the beach. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. There was a large covered porch that we were able to enjoy happy hour and listen to the nightly entertainment.

Terrible experience. Very expensive room was "horrible". Service was "horrible" and some employees downright rude. Grossly overpriced for what you got

Breakfast was fine, the staff was pleasant and accommodating, the location was fine, the common areas of the Inn were very pleasing.

The elevator was the first installed in the State of N.J. and required a staff member to operate, and was approx. 3'x3'. The room itself was cramped, the bathroom outdated, and overall not what was expected for an out of season stay for $400+ - $500+ per night. On Aug. 18th. informed the Inn that we would be checking out a day early. No response to message and no credit.

The charm of the old building is great, with the wrap around porch and pool. Location is excellent near the beach and walkable to everything. And the bed was very comfortable. But the rooms were

last minute booking Tues after Labor day, The property was very dated, But the Age was the charm thats why we booked it. almost no one in the hotel. Would have love to spend last beach day. Requested a late check out, Reception and Manager Christine and Rebeca were so nasty. You would think I was asking for a free day ! Will never go back!

Just got back from an enjoyable stay at the Inn of Cape May. I'd describe the hotel as historic chic - a 130 year old building with modern updates. To start, the location is perfect. Right on the beach and only a couple of minutes walk to the mall, restaurants, etc. We had a nice family room on the fourth floor (extra cool being in the corner turret) with an extraordinary view of the beach. You can tell at one point it was two rooms but now one for families. The room was very clean and mostly well-appointed. The one thing that I didn't care for was the giant televisions. Not only did they take away from the charm, they were poorly mounted with the wires/plug being exposed. Not in a hazardous way, just unsightly. Other minor concerns were the lack of outlets and the bathroom was a still a bit dated (hard to open the shower door). The common areas were nice - especially the porch. Pool area was small but enjoyable. Cool outdoor couch and fire pit area. Don't miss the small upper-porch off the second floor above the front door...relaxing with a great view. There is also a larger porch on the second floor overlooking the ocean but it is in need of a refresh. Front desk staff was excellent. In fact, we had small situation and they were super accommodating. Restaurant and bar staff were just ok. I will definitely stay here again and do recommend it. But will say that you have to have an appreciation for its historic nature. For example, only one elevator that had to be operated by a staff member. Not a problem for us, but may be for others. I also got the sense that they are continuing to improve this hotel. So next time I bet it will be even better!

WiFi was spotty in the room. Bathroom door didn’t close. Bathrooms in the room are run down and not clean. Fire alarm went off twice. Hotel is run-down. Pool was not kid-friendly. Trash left all over the property (water bottles, drinks from the night before, etc.) Room is musty, AC unit musty

It was clean and well maintained and the location was amazing.

The pool did not have clean towels. I wish there were more spaces to sit without having to buy food or drinks.

We loved the old world charm The staff was so nice and thank you for the parking! What a Godsend
