Angel Island Eco Resort

Angel island eco resort is truly ecological. Perfect for people who are concerned about the environment but still want a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended and would book again without hesitation. Baby sharks swim straight to the shore and are the cutest!

The place is amazing, beautiful private bungalows in a nice and well maintained garden and beach. The rest of the very small island is wild and i loved the short walks with 360° view.

This is an absolute gem of a place. Tranquil with beautiful surroundings. A nice beach with a house reef with lots of coral and fish. Spacious bungalows and great staff. Would definitely stay again.

accommodation in separate units is spacious and of very high quality supported by friendly and very helpful staff. Sand trails through the trees and flowering plants lead to the empty sandy beaches. The beaches have outstanding views over the sea to islands in the distance. The coral reef is just feet away from the shore and is to easy access for snorkelling. The reef is in very good condition providing a home for a multitude of fish and live corals. Beach loungers and umbrellas provide shade. The main desk can arrange tours to other local sights including Komodo National Park. The restaurant provides open air dining with view over the sea. A variety of good food is provided at reasonable cost, as is nicely chilled Bintang beer. Some reviews have talked of high cost. We found no evidence of raised prices. Prices were very reasonable given beautiful location, great views and cost of shipping to the isalnd.

Directions for getting the ferry from LBJ to the island could have been better. If you do not rely on airport pickup, make sure you have found the Angel Island Ferry on Google Maps or equivalent and use this to navigate the harbor. No one else will know where it is!

The staff made the trip super memorable, specifically Paul, Ano, and Albert who we saw and interacted with daily at the restaurant 🙏🏼 We also opted for the excursion to Komodo Island and pink beach and it was stunning!!

Amazing Island resort that is led by wonderful Ms. Kate and her team of kind employees. On the Island, you have a private beach, an excellent cook, great snorkeling, and a peaceful vacation. Food is amazing and everything is on the level. Even the design of the cottages is very impressive.

The whole island is so magical. We spent most of our time snorkeling at the reef, kayaking around the island and relaxing on the private beach. Kate was amazing and organised an incredible private tour for us with the a few others staying at the hotel. We spent the day seeing the Komodo dragons, swimming with manta rays and watching flying foxes at sunset. We’ll be dreaming of the day we get to come back.

Just finished a 3 night stay at Angel Island. Kate and her staff are amazing, helpful and unobtrusive. The snorkelling is amazing from their private beach and the views across the islands from the restaurant are stunning.The ambience was conducive to relaxation and provided an excellent balance between activity and chilling out. Would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a romantic escape. Kate the eco warrior's strong environmental values are needed in the National Park to maintain this valuable fragile environment

The kayaks were fine but the kayak paddles were unbelievably heavy! With the price they charge, they really need to get some real (not homemade) Kayak paddles

A really special place where you have complete privacy and seclusion. It is such a calming and relaxing place that you really switch off and settle into the rhythm of the island. The staff are amazing, so lovely. Food is very good, loved the afternoon treat. The beach and snorkelling are also great. Room and WiFi also both very good. Very clean, appreciated the turn down service

I had wrongly assumed that breakfast was included and for the high standard of service that this hotel has it is something I would have expected. I think it could really bump the hotel up a notch and add to the special experience
