Downtown Inn

Ignore all the reviews. It’s an inn that’s very clean, beds are very comfortable (softer side, not firm), and it’s a perfect location from downtown rochester, that’s really all you need.

The only downside is, and this is usually a common thing with inns, is the walls are thin. Had a guy 2 rooms down gagging all night, but I wouldn’t blame the inn, it’s just either people gagging all night, or inconsiderate people, all luck of the draw.

Great location. Very comfortable bed! The staff was very helpful.

Nothing negative to say

Staff was nice. The remote was lost and they brought a new one right up. It was clean.

There is no place to put my bathroom stuff. The fireplace that was advertised did not work. The door locked but didn't close properly and had no chain on the inside. My lamp didn't work. Only two flat pillows. The air conditioner was either an Arctic zone or tropical. I just wasn't happy with what I paid for the place.

We couldn’t get any ice and there was no one around to ask. It was truly the only disappointment. The room was perfect for what we needed !

No elevator. Had to carry heavy suitcase up stairs . Typical wall ac unit: you were either hot or cold.

Location to Downtown and to area restaurants was excellent. Room was exceptionally clean; Bed and linens were very comfortable.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was beyond helpful. We had a second floor guest room which wasn’t good for me and she helped me up and down the stairs. Her name is Linda.

The person who answered the phone before the front desk opened was extremely rude, obtuse and not understanding or caring at all. If it wasn’t for Linda (see above), this place would have gotten a bad review regardless of the room or location.
