Downtown Inn

The facility was quiet and easy to access.

The exterior was interesting, with the AC units blowing into the open air hallway of the second level.

The room was great but could use comfortable chair

The light on the right side of the bed didn’t work.

fantastic walkable location right on the edge of downtown rochester, king bed was big and comfortable, whole room was very clean and modern and the staff was friendly.

there is no on-site staff on sundays so when we needed something like toilet paper there was no one around to help and get what you need until the next day. also the air conditioner in the room was incredibly loud, even on the lowest fan setting which was a bit annoying when we wanted to watch tv and could barely hear it, and when we wanted to sleep we had to choose between turning it off and being hot or just leaving it on low and getting used to the noise so we could sleep with it on.

Privacy, convenience, etc.

Didn’t get the rm# & code right away. It wasn’t obvious how to find it. Need to send by text to mobile or email directly. No answer at phone # provided for help. Would like a way to request early checkin and/or late checkout.

I like the price, and its location is close to where we spend our time in Rochester.

Lots of remodeling has happened which is great but first room the shower didn’t drain and not enough towels. They switched to “touchless” service which made it impossible to remedy the towels or the shower issue until later in the day. Then our new room shower drained but exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work. Neither room had functional secondary locks. The one part was present on the door frame but nothing in the door itself to latch to. Did not receive any type of refund or rate reduction.

The rooms have been very nicely updated. The bed was comfortable

1) no comfortable chair to relax in. Only 2 straight backed chairs at the table. 2) no place to but my toiletries in the bathroom as there is no counter area. 3) nice modern looking fireplace but no way to turn it on. 4) bright all night lights outside my room and the curtains were not enough to block it out at night. 5) no elevator and my room was on the second level so I had to lug my stuff up the open stairwell. I also have balance issues so was very nervous coming down the stairs alone.

This place was immaculate, minimalist and comfortable.

The ac unit is VERY loud, even on the lowest setting.

There was someone in the room they gave me when I opened the door. Not Good!!!

Very friendly & helpful staff. Fast, convenient check in/out. The room and everything in it was very nice & clean. Loved the Roku ss well as the extremely comfortable & clean bed

When on, the ac unit is very loud. No dim light in the bathroom to leave on as a nightlight.
