Mountainside Inn

We enjoyed our visit. Adriana was very helpful showing us around the house. The mountain side behind the building was very impressive and I got a couple of good photos. We arrived on Monday afternoon and all restaurants were closed. But again Adriana told us where to find a sandwich

Really nice room with a bathroom, seating area, and dressing/makeup area. We loved our stay here. It was summer and the room only has a window air conditioning unit. This did not bother us, but those who like the room cooler may have an issue with a warmer room. The hotel is very close to town for restaurants and stores. It also backs up to a beautiful mountain.

Nice quiet place

We had a wonderful time staying at mountainside inn. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 3 which had a king size bed. The room and bathroom were very clean. It was nice to stay in a quiet inn with no kids running around during our visit. The host was so welcoming. She gave me tips on hiking in a totally different climate. The inn is very close to a restaurant/store called Stone Village Market. You could walk or drive, it is super close. They have a really good breakfast. The morning we had breakfast it was homemade biscuits with sausage gravy. The sandwiches are also delicious. However you can also choose not to eat out and cook all your meals and mountainside inn. They provided all the cookware and dishes you need for your meals. The inn is not to far from McDonald's observatory.

Did not like parking lot on side. Wasn’t handicap friendly. And too many ruts and dark at night. Liked room except for kid size toilet and no seat in shower. Common area very usable and whole facility very clean.
