We enjoyed our overnight stay. Room was super clean and comfortable.

The Mountainside Inn was a pleasant surprise on our journey. This Inn appears to have been a single family home, that has been converted to be an Inn. There is a Common Room for relaxing, and a Common Kitchen for coffee and refrigerator use. Our room, #5, was at the end of the hall, and was very comfortable. The bed was a touch too soft for our tastes, but the bed linens were nice! The bathroom was large enough for two people to use at the same time, and the soap & shampoo were of a good quality. The checkin/checkout procedure was done via texting, with the front door code being given before we arrived. The key for the room was in the unlocked room, and for checkout, the instructions were to leave the key and text that we were gone. Very easy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very clean property, soft beds, quiet. Friendly staff and easy check-in and check out. Loved it. Look forward to staying here again in the future

Comfortable room, nice amenities, great staff. Floor of the room had a few small rocks and goat head stickers which were uncomfortable.

Cute rooms but a little noisy

It was a great stay. Even though most communication was done via text, it was like texting back and forth with a friend. So helpful with restaurant suggestions. The room was very cozy and quaint. There was a beautiful view from the small seating area. And the sheets were so soft and silky, just amazing. The bed so comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing. Great experience! Definitely will stay anytime I'm in Ft. Davis, whether for business or pleasure!!

We booked a three night stay at this property and left after the first night. The family room has two windows, neither of which is capable of opening. That means that this room has not been properly aired out in years, and it smells like it. There is dust in the air, and a moldy smell as well. We complained to the owners, and were told we could get a refund, which they then refused afterwards. Overall a big negative during our vacation, and impossible to recommend this property.
