I’m so sad I booked this hotel. Booked for a four night stay for a friends birthday and I really regret it. I did my research and location and pics looked good but the rooms of this hotel look into an event space at the andaz that hosts loud and lit events almost every night. When I was checking in people were complaining about the previous nights noise and I should’ve sensed the red flags. It was like trying to sleep in a dance club and management’s reaction was just to blame the andaz for hosting the events. One of the most disappointing properties I’ve stayed at in years….

We stayed at the Mondrian Condesa, Mexico City for 5 nights in November, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences our family has had. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Condesa, with amazing cafés, parks, and restaurants just steps away — but what truly sets this property apart is the quality of its people. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Two team members in particular deserve special recognition for going far above and beyond. Isaac from the front desk was exceptional. Always smiling, always checking in on us, and always ready with spot-on recommendations. One incident really stood out: my son broke his spectacles during the day, and with our tight schedule, we had no time to visit an optician. Without us even asking, Isaac took the initiative to help. By the time we returned from a cooking class later that afternoon, a brand-new pair of glasses was waiting for us in our room. It was incredible. He single-handedly solved a major problem for us and did it with such kindness and efficiency. He deserves a special accolade for his commitment and care. The concierge team was equally impressive. We were pressed for time and needed help collecting our laundry from a nearby store. Salvador from the concierge desk stepped in and personally arranged to get it collected for us. Again, this level of thoughtfulness and service is extremely rare, even in top hotels. The team at Mondrian Condesa didn’t just do their jobs — they anticipated needs, found solutions, and treated us like valued guests at every moment. They made our stay not just comfortable, but truly special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mexico City. We will absolutely stay here again.

Food was pretty good and the Terrazza was pleasant. Room was spacious and nice. Generally staff were friendly and helpful.

1) Daily room cleanng was very mixed - both in quality and consistency. The staff didn't check to see if we needed things like lotion or conditioner, or water. We didn't have any conditioner in the shower, and just thought the hotel didn't provide it. We later found out from our friends that their rooms had it. One would think that is a standard thing for staff to check. Some days towels were changed and some days they weren't. After we started tipping daily, the attention to the room was much better. I would say, generally the daily cleaning service fell well below my experience in five star and four star hotels. 2) There was a VERY loud gathering for Ford that was unexpected, and annoying. 3) My down vest which I wore from the cold climate at home, but didn't need in Mexico City went missing from my room midway through our stay.

Staff didn’t change towels correctly, only received two large towels. Don’t replace smaller towels. Sheets were not comfortable, rough.

Utterly charming place and an extremely capable and also relentlessly sweet/kind staff. Beware though, Expedia has completely mismatched their photos of the hotel's rooms. Best to book direct if you don't want a nasty shock when you find the room that you've booked is not the one that site sold you.

Nice place but couldn't get a good night as hotel management had event crew banging around with equipment and set up at 4:am two nights in a row. Best to stay somewhere else that has common sense and care for guest and sleep.

The hotel is in a nice location for those who want to stay in and around La Condesa neighborhood, the hotel is spotless, I mean you could eat off the floor. The staff from the front desk to the bellman are flawless and want your stay to be nothing short of perfect. The rooms themselves are spacious, ours had a terrace and looked out over the city. Housekeeping was excellent. There is nothing that comes to mind that was not excellent.
