Great White Horse Hotel

The icey cold room was enough to motivate me to leave on time for my train.

Paper thin walls meant my early night turned into listening to hushed conversation, mould on the sheets and damp towels, electric heaters to replace the faulty heating wasn't on but the heater was mounted under a metal framed.painting which made a foul smell after a while and at 1am the manager had a shouting match with another room to which the three other neighbours joined in and had a conversation in the hallway. In short. It was not great even for £30.

the building is absolutely shocking and looked like a place a certain substance using customers would stay, doors with wood splinters all over, could hear a dog in one room, huge smell of narcotics, room facilities were falling apart, showing literally had two settings, freezing cold or scolding hot, so hot you could not have the water touch your skin, mould all over the room, toilet seat on a huge wonky angle and no floor matt in the bathroom which made stepping out of the "shower" dangerous, with all honesty i wouldn't even pay £10 to stay in this facility let alone the £54 i spent DO NOT STAY HERE

everything, the room, the building, the customer service, all shockingly bad, would not even allow my dog to stay here let alone a human being

Not clean,dirty washroom,no dust bin ,no glass, no water in room, not like photos given 😞

Great view of the church & graveyard from our window which was lit up at night.

No TV as promised? No tea coffee sugar or milk. No cups or glasses or spoons? No wardrobe as promised? No mirror in bathroom?

The staff was friendly, but they charge me two times for the stay.

The highlight was the toilet flush which was strong

Unsafe, dirty, cold, smelly, damp, unpleasant. Hotel needs to be closed/ condemned. Booking.com should not be advertising its rooms.
