How comfy the beds were. 10 minute walk from the centre. The appartment was very clean and had everything in it that you needed to stay there.

How cold it was in the lounge as the one radiators weren't working , the offensive smell in both bathrooms. These issues were made known to the owner who did offer to send someone out to look at the bathrooms , we declined their offer as we were out all day, both doors were kept closed during our stay

Property is located near to centre. Apartment had everything you needed and was done very tastefully. A good place to catch up with friends.

Getting into car park was very difficult as all the surrounding streets are one way or have bollards, so took a lot of time to get parked. Key safe was a little tricky for opening. There is a smell in the apartment which isn't very pleasant so maybe drains need some attention.

The apartment is spacious with the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms which is what my friend and I were looking for. The location is in a quiet residential area with hardly any traffic noise and unlike a previous review we had absolutely NO nasty smells of any sort, in fact the apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival

More detailed instructions on how to operate the heating system in the information pack would have been helpful otherwise my fried and I were both very happy with the standard of the apartment

Difficult to find car park due to one way roads and bollards.

The place ABSOLUTELY STUNK of sewage/decaying bodies. The company gave us some warning but nothing was done about it despite it clearly being an issue for a guest the week before and them promising to try and rectify. They failed to offer any fair resolution. It ruined the whole stay as it was completely overwhelming. Do not stay here unless you've completely lost your sense of smell.

The property had issues with bad smell. It shouldn't have been marketed until the issue of bad smell was sorted. When I checked in, I noticed that the property was filled with very strong, pungent bad smell. I opened windows, I thought it will go away but it was coming from the apartment itself. When I raised that with the owner through the chat, they replied that they can help if I find the source of the smell (this shows that they were aware of the smell, tried to sort it but could't find source of it), I couldn't find the source of the smell and called the customer services again, from my conversation with them I noticed that the cleaners had raised that issue as well but the owner didn't bother to get the issue sorted. They couldn't help either, my family and I were forced to live in that apartment that night as there was no time to go elsewhere. We couldn't sleep for a second, the smell was too overwhelming. Next morning, I talked to the customer services and they said they will send someone, we couldn't go anywhere because we have to wait for that person from property management. That person came around 1-1.30 and he also agreed that the smell was too overwhelming to stay, he passed that to the customer service people, the smell was 'raw sewer' like in his own words. He couldn't sort it out despite being in the property for 1 hour. We had no choice but to check out of the property. I informed the customer service and they told me that they will refund my money back. After 20 days I still didn't get anything back. My holiday was ruined and the whole experience was horrible.

Unfortunately there was a really bad smell throughout the apartment It hit you has soon has you walked in. Surely the cleaners would have been aware. Lots of flies in ensuite bathroom too we think there is a sewer problem because it was worse when water used ie showers and toilets.

The apartment was easily accessible and comfortable. The location was great with the centre of York being a short walk away. The single parking bay was perfectly adequate as we only had one car.

Having used a similar cooker there was no problem with the controls BUT the pans provided were totally inadequate for the hob. The one frying pan (we used it for stir frying) that worked, wobbled and only heated up once it was at a certain angle; the larger pan just didn't work. A shame both bathrooms steamed up; we've stayed at another address at the Mews and that was much better all round. We did a shop and had to obtain additional toilet paper and kitchen towels. We also had to get a kitchen "scrubber" and cloth. I didn't understand why the settee and chairs were opposite the kitchen area, whilst the table and chairs were by the window leading to the balcony.
