Charming 2 bedroom apartment in Gorgie

The flat was well cleaned and in a good location for public transport, groceries and restaurants/cafes

Poorly maintained. The lounge room door handle fell off, the toilet seat slid about, the lights in the bathroom are mainly bare bulbs. It gives the feeling of only doing enough to make money, there is no evidence of desire to make the property as good as it can be. Also little in the way of instructions.

Not “charming” in any way! Photos of kitchen very deceptive. Broken toilet seat, ripped carpets, peeling paint, dirty entryway. Bedding was clean, location convenient, quiet at night. Just don’t expect it to feel like the photos make it appear.

The ubication fit perfectly for our plans, really nice and non touristic neighbourhood but at the same time really near to the city centre.

The common areas of the building were quite dirty and non well preserved. The flat was very clean, though.

Location is great and within walking distance,35 mins approximately to all tourist attractions. Tram station is not far away from the accommodation. It is a spacious apartment with two rooms. Facilities are basic but meet all of our expectation. The host is helpful with information during our stay.

It is at level 3, and a bit challenging to carry big suitcase up to the floor. It will be great if this information is available to the tenant. Improvements: Ground floor and steps go up to the apartment is bit dirty, maybe this is a shared property with tenants of other apartments. However, it gives some negative impression to others. The hall is spacious and comfortable. If the host can have a dining table, it will surely a bonus. Overall, I am happy with the apartment and it's facilities.

The apartment was certainly not “charming “ as described. It was in a poor location, in a poor state of repair throughout, unfit for my family to use and not as advertised. We moved to alternative accommodation the next day as it was that poor. Would certainly not recommend it to anyone
