The only thing I like was the bathroom .

I didn't like at all. There was cockroaches and dirt . It wasn't clean or like the pictures and the fact they don't want to refund is the thing I didn't like the most.

THE NEIGBORHOOD

The room itself isn't too bad - it has a bed that was queen sized + a single bed, a table, some lamps etc. Bathroom was somewhat recently renovated and seemed to function reasonably okay again, and no issues. The staff I dealt with over email were all really helpful as well.

There are a few different things that seemed a little off about the place - first is number of plugs in the room as that was reasonably short. The location is good by the bed but couldn't they have some splitters or something? And then the number of threats of fines. Clogging the toilet? $300 USD fine. Removing/unplugging/fiddling the WiFi extender that was occupying one of the two available plugs? $60 USD fine. The number of fines for everything plastered in the building makes you wonder if it is some sort of scheme/excuse to try steal your deposit, as it otherwise doesn't seem to make any sense. The only thing that makes me think otherwise is the staff actually being helpful/useful so it makes the operation a lot more legit. This also wasn't helped by the WiFi unit in my room being glitchy and not liking being plugged all the way in. A chair in my room was sort of coming apart, and there's nowhere to get drinking water so you've got to use the bathroom tap. The location is iffy - I wouldn't say it's unsafe during the day, but I don't know how much I'd want to linger at night. That could be a location thing, but it also could be a Philadelphia thing as well. The T1/Green line is down the road a bit, a 5 minute walk but for me 50% of the time it didn't show up and I walked about 15 mins to the Blue Line for transport which was a lot more reliable and regular as well. It's in a good enough location though, as it's semi-close to town and you could Uber if you wanted - any further and that becomes harder.

Sofa bed you can’t sleep on it

The Family room is advertised as having two beds. When we got there, there was only one bed, and one sofa. The sofa didn't have any sheets, pillows or blanket and wasn't long enough to sleep on without feet hanging off the edge. It was a very cold and uncomfortable night of sleeping.
