The Beverly

Chosen for it's convenient location, accommodation was reasonable for the price payed.

Convenient to train station, but not having on site staff was not the best. Needed a blanket and extra coffee and no one was around. Storage closet wasn’t fully stocked.

The stay was great to our Salem trip. The only draw back was Expedia has the wrong phone number as to contact the property

Was really disappointed on our room. The area is very cute and nice. But the rooms were a bit disappointing. It looked like our room wasn't even cleaned. The coffee machine was open and there was coffee grounds all over it and all over the counter. The cupboards has a weird sticky substance on them, so it's obvious it wasn't wiped down. The orange pillows on the bed were stained. The bathtub looked like the cracks had mold and the handle bar in the shower was falling out. I was soo excited for this hotel because i fell it love with it when i seen it online. But it did not live up to the photos at all. I am not one to leave reviews, that's how disappointed i was.

With no human on-site check in was challenging. Walked into suite and it overwhelmingly smelled like cat pee. Again no one on-site to manage. Had to call and wait for a person to be sent over to be able to do nothing. Wanted another room but completely booked. Would have left, but in the area for a wedding and already knew there was no where with availability. Offered cleaning spray used by housekeeping to try to quell the smell. Left every window open entire stay. Was offered no

Great in between location if your visiting multiple spots in the New England area, we visited Salem and also Boston the train station is right across the street. It’s very easy to get around. The room was nice semi quiet, convenient location to a few different restaurants in a couple of coffee shops and then also the grocery store if you need to get food or other supplies.

Room & bath nice, clean, warm & comfy. Would of been nice if we could of stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities . Will recommend & stay again. Good morning with a great breakfast & hot coffee & warm smile . Thank you for a nice stay and a good start to the day

My daughter and I spent 2 nights in the King Suite. It was an awesome experience. Do not believe any bad reviews you read about the Beverly. Our stay was excellent. The management was awesome, checking in on us to see how we were and if we needed anything. The hotel is located so close to so many restaurants and stores if you forgot anything. Highly recommend you stay there. And at some point I plan to go back. Thank you The Beverly❤️

Room was semi-clean but in a great location. Our friends had an upstairs room that was much nicer than the basement room we were in. I’m 6’ 2” and had to duck in our room. Smelled like stale smoke from years past, not recent.

This is a road-side motel that charges a price point that would suggest it's a higher quality. Windows didn't work properly, cigarette burns in the bathroom countertop, the door look liked it had been kicked in and repaired but never painted.
