Degroux 82 - Self Check In by Homenhancement

I loved the location and the surrounding area. Very easy to find shops and nice cafés. Very close to the subway. Apartment had everything you need and ws very clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I didn't like that the property was so inflexible about check in I had to wait at the airport for 4 1/2 hours before I could I could check in. Flooring in the bathroom needs to be fixed. And the entry door off the street hinges need to be oiled.

The apartment is spacious and bright. The kitchen space is ideal to cook and have meals. Two comfortable couchs, cable TV with many channels and sports.

The apartment is in a third floor and stairs are narrow and steep. We knew it and it is ok for us. Just keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage and don't feel you're able to carry it up.

Manque de vaisselle, absence kit de nettoyage de base (liquide vaisselle, éponge, nettoyant multi surfaces), produits de 1ere nécessité et gel douche / shampooing. Manque d’aération dans l’annexe (odeur d’humidité au RDC et très forte chaleur à l’étage sans possibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres)

The accommodation was in a nice and quiet area, just a short walk from the metro station, which made getting around the city very easy.

There were several issues that made the stay less convenient. The apartment lacked basic essentials like hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and trash bags. Many other reviewers have mentioned the same, and it's frustrating to have to buy these items separately for just a short stay. Checking in also required downloading a separate smartphone app, which felt unnecessarily complicated. The dishes were not properly cleaned, the frying pans were scratched, and the downstairs toilet didn’t even have a hook for a hand towel. Additionally, the host was slow to respond to messages — in some cases replying days after we had already checked out.
