Mint House Birmingham - Downtown

It was noisy by the busy road lall hours during the night. Sounded like a drag stripe. It's not recommended for light sleepers.

The property and setup is amazing however, the street noise even being on the second floor disturbing. The hallway noise was also quite noticeable in the army morning. Overall, I enjoyed the stay

We were pleased. Our room was spotless. Cozy sitting areas on the first floor were great for visiting with friends who were staying at the hotel also. The hotel is unusual in that there are times when no staff person is on duty. Guests should always have their assigned virtual key information for check-in, building entry, and room entry. While the hotel is in a good area with UAB and several other hotels nearby there was late night impromptu street racing taking place on the streets and in the intersection adjacent to the hotel during the weekend we were there. I know this is something the hotel had no control over and may not be an ongoing problem.

Very nice clean room, close to everything downtown and UAB. I really liked all the amenities, nice full kitchen. Great dining options within a short walk. The parking situation is not great. The shower had low water preassure. Overall it was a good experience.
