The Ritz-Carlton, Portland lives up to its name. It’s pure elegance in a lively city. We were greeted very warmly by the valet, doorman, and front desk. Matt, the personable doorman, showed us to our room and gave us an overview of the hotel that was built in 2023. Additionally, he provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions to see in town! When we decided to take an evening walk, Matt not only shared directions with us, but also gave us a brief history of Portland with a local’s perspective. Room Service was delicious and breakfast at the Bellpine (restaurant in the hotel) was extremely tasty! Both the room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully appointed! Very clean. Would recommend the Ritz-Carlton to anyone who is looking for a clean and modern accommodation in Portland.

The Ritz Carlton is a relatively small but stylish hotel which oozes quality. The interiors have a boutique feel about it. The common parts are beautifully designed and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and of a top quality. The hotel has an enormous fitness centre and a stunning inside pool - both with magnificent views. The concierge Joey Brooks deserves a big shout out. He couldn’t do more to serve or please. He was a legend to us and a great ambassador for Ritz Carlton. Kevin from the management team was also helpful. If you are staying in Portland for work or pleasure you won’t regret staying at the Ritz Carlton,

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience. The room was full of dust everywhere. In addition, the air conditioning didn't work. It was a very expensive hotel and the rooms were not clean at all. They also charged me double for the room.

We had an excellent stay at the Ritz-Carlton Portland and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city. From the moment we arrived the service was extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s also very child friendly – all of the staff were fantastic with our two kids and went out of their way to make them feel special which really made a difference to the stay. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. Our room was very comfortable, well designed and had everything we needed. Make sure to visit the bar on the top floor – it’s well worth it. The views are great and the cocktails were very good. We were also really impressed with breakfast each morning – everything was fresh, tasty and well prepared. The pool on the 19th floor is another highlight — a really good size and perfect for relaxing or letting the kids have a swim. The gym was amazing too, with very modern equipment and everything in perfect working order. Finally, the location is excellent and just a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Overall, a fantastic stay and a great choice for families looking for a luxury hotel in Portland.

I liked the inside look but the staff over charged my card in the when i arrived 2 times then 2 seperate times randomly for 2 different amounts at 2:20 in the morning
