Excellent location - between 2 large public bath houses within a few minutes' walk. The host was friendly and welcoming. It was nice to have a toilet in the room.

Rooms would benefit from a bit of freshening up due to wear and tear.

The owner greet us with smile. Even though her English is not good but she tried her best to give us information. The room and facilities are perfect and beyond expectations. We really had a great time here.

The place has no elevator so people with big luggage have to lift theirs up by themselves.

The hotel is perfectly located next to some of the best onsens in town. It was super clean, comfortable and welcoming in a very traditional way. The private baths are PERFECT, especially after the busy public onsens. The rooms were large, adorable, and the food was exquisite. We loved every minute of our stay!

Not a criticism, just something to note. There is no shower in your room so you do have to use the private onsens to clean. But, hey, that’s why you’re here. Embrace it! Also, some Japanese is recommended! We communicated mainly via google translate and everyone was incredibly sweet and attentive, but speaking basic Japanese would have helped.

Awesome location. Very nice yukata for use to go to the onsens. It was nice to have a private toilet and sink in the room.

The room was very cozy, perfect for an authentic japanese experience
