Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not speak much Japanese, and they did not speak much English, but we were able to communicate well using Google translate. Great location, great room. Would highly recommend to others.

Staff was extremely accommodating despite us getting in late - they even gave us a ride from the station! Dinner and breakfast were very tasty, room was spacious, and beds were comfy! Would definitely stay again, thanks!!

I loved everything about the property! Very old style Japanese. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. Gave me great recommendations on food and sight seeing.

I wish there was a early check in option. Also nothing really opens before 9:30am for breakfast so i would have reserved breakfast at the onsen if I knew it’d be hard to find foo elsewhere.

The room was amazingly spacious and good if you want to try a real Japanese accommodation. Dinner and breakfast were fabulous, delicious and well presented. The staff was nice and very friendly.

Breakfast is at 8, which is ok although quite early. However, while we were going for breakfast we were asked if they could put the futons away… we wanted to go to bed again for a little time after breakfast, but we thought that maybe they are understaffed and wanted to get on with work so we agreed do that…. Then, when we went back to the room after breakfast we found out that the teapot was also taken away from the room, and we could not even have a cup tea. Check out should be at 10, but it felt like we were kind of forced to checkout right after breakfast. Shame because our stay was very good up to that point.

There were many things that I liked about this place, but here are the big ones: 1) The room was HUGE, especially for only 2 people. It was also decorated very nicely and made for great relaxing. I could literally just sit inside the room and watch tv and be very happy 2) The food that they serve for dinner and breakfast is amazing. Meals place in a separate room away from your actual bedroom, so when I walked into the room for the first time for dinner and saw the sheer spread of food we were being served, my mouth literally dropped. Taste wise, everything they served was super fresh and impeccably tasting. 3) The service. We arrived before the official check in time, and they allowed us to drop our bags off while we wondered around the town before checking in. When we got back at check in time, we found out they already carried our bags into the room. Furthermore, when we checked out, they offered to drive us all the way back to the station with our luggages (an offer we happily took).

At the time when we stayed, the place was doing renovations, and as a result, their private indoor onsen was closed, which I was really looking forward to using. Other than that, I honestly can't think of anything else.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Provided breakfast was delicious.
