The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate all requests. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even gave me a birthday surprise with a huge birthday cake! The plant flora and ocean front views were beautiful and the hotel had bike rentals which made it easy to bike to other beaches like Paje. We even got a complimentary Dhow boat ride to do some snorkeling.

The pool was in a shaded area and the debris from the trees and plants would get in the water. No one can control nature, but this does make it difficult to keep the clear from plant debris.

Room was super clean. They made sure the room are cleaned twice a day. Staff was amazing and helpful. Food dining was excellent. Would like to thank the manager that made sure our stay was amazing and last would like to thank the excellent staff for all the help and support. Hotel location was amazing close by paje where you can find alot of nice restaurants.

All the wonderful staff and welcoming vibes. A cozy atmosphere. Requested an upgrade and was granted one at no extra charge.

When the kitchen closes at 10:30pm there is no way you can get a bite or a snack until the morning. For me when I travel for leisure I do not sleep early/wake up early, therefore at least making snack options available or in the minibar is suggested.

We recently stayed at Alma Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar and had an outstanding experience overall. The service was top-notch—especially the garsons, who were super friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The restaurant was amazing, offering a delightful array of seafood dishes. We would like to underline chef Ahmed. The manager was also highly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that guests felt welcome. The rooms were cleaned up on time every day, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The desserts could use a bit of improvement to match the excellence of the main courses, this was a minor flaw in an otherwise stellar dining experience. The only drawback we encountered was with the coastal area; the shoreline was full of reefs, which meant we had to wait for the water to come in before we could fully enjoy a swim. But the Hotel provides a snorkelling and sailing tour, with a very positive captain Abdurahman, singing along and being joyful. Despite this slight inconvenience, our time at Alma Boutique Hotel was memorable and enjoyable.

Hotellet ligger virkelig roligt. Alt er veldesignet og væres værelse var virkelig stort og velindrettet og flot design. Maden er et kapitel for sig selv og det samme gælder personalets venlighed, service og involvering. Det oversteg langt vores forventninger. Gratis bådture med hotellets egen trimaran med lokal besætning.

Alma är ett mycket fint hotell med en lång fantastisk strand perfekt för promenader när det är lågvatten. Hotellet har en trimaran som man kan boka för en 1-2 h lång seglats ut mot reven för att snorkla. Det var en av veckans höjdpunkter. En dag tog vi taxi ner till BeZanzibar hotell och åt lunch, promenad hem på stranden. Det var 6km och en trevlig utflykt. Hotellet hjälpte oss även att boka en resa till Pungume Island eller snarare sandbanken bakom ön. Båtresan dit är ca 1 h över öppen sjö. Jämför med snorklingen utanför hotellet, mycket bättre. Därefter bjöd kaptenen på en lunch med grillade skaldjur, pommes och sallad, rekommenderas :-) Två dagar åt vi lunch på närbelägna Scooby Doo, rekommenderas Utrymme för förbättringar; serveringspersonalen var stundvis förvirrad och hade svårt att leverera det vi beställde.

We had a wonderful time Here. Before we came we have read some points of improvement but we found out the hotel took care of that. Better priced wines on the menu, food is wonderful and the wifi worked great. The true gem is the kind staff here. When I god sunburnt Salem was getting some fresh aloë Vera leaves so I could put the juice of it on my face and it worked perfectly. The room is beautiful decorated as well. There are some free activities as well as sailing and snorkeling. Also free bikes for hire.

Just some small improvements. Some water in the gym as it is very hot there. Also the quality of the bikes could be better.
