The hotel is beautiful, it really is just a shame that there are so many things letting it down. Our first disappointment came before we even arrived. My husband sent a message via Voyage Prive asking if there was anything the hotel could do or put in our room as we were coming for our honeymoon and he wanted to surprise me. He would have been prepared to pay extra for this but he got a message back outright declining his request. Is it really so hard for a ‘5 star hotel’ to put a bottle of Prosecco or something in a room for a couple on their honeymoon? Then when we arrived, it became clear this isn’t really a 5 star hotel after all. The hot food at the buffet was always cold and often overcooked, dry and salty. Luckily I like a salad so I didn’t go hungry. At breakfast on the first two days the pineapple juice came out like pure water. I had orange juice instead which looked orange but tasted like water. In fact all the drinks were watered down. We went to book the two other restaurants the day we arrived. We could only get into the Greek restaurant on our last night and unfortunately couldn’t get a reservation for the Italian at all. The Greek was OK. Still a bit overcooked and dry. The squid starter was meant to come with a sauce but didn’t. The waitress was lovely though. The pool areas are nice and clean with comfortable sun beds. When we went to the pool bar we were told there was no menu as it was last years and out of date. Seemed a bit unprofessional but no problem as the friendly bar staff recommended some drinks. The only negative thing I can say about the pool areas is that I found myself picking up a lot of other people’s rubbish as staff do not come round and clear empty cups or rubbish by the pool. Also as you walk into the ladies toilets by the pool, cardboard boxes and rubbish is piled up. If I ran a ‘5 star hotel’ I’d probably make sure rubbish was kept out of view from guests. The beach is lovely. Very rocky as you go in the sea, so water shoes do make it a better experience. The beach bar only serves beer and wine. You can’t get a cocktail down there which is odd for a ‘5 star hotel’. You can also only get warm basic tasteless sandwiches throughout the day or a hotdog at 3pm. The spa is nice and we had lovely massages there. The gym equipment is limited and the gym doesn’t open until 10am so a bit pointless really as we would have liked to workout first thing in the morning. When we checked out at around 10.15, our wristbands were cut off from our wrists and we were told everything we consumed thereafter would be chargeable, despite us not being picked up for the airport until 7pm. This has never happened to us at any all inclusives before and we were dumbfounded. Overall I had a nice relaxing few days. I just wish we had spent a bit more and chosen a more special hotel that was actually 5 stars for our honeymoon.

Beautiful place and location, it just has a few things really letting it down. Room was nice, just wasn't cleaned very well each day, cups left dirty and coffee not topped up daily, the shower was terrible, had only a trickle and the shower head kept falling down. Food at the buffet was OK but not 5 star and was cold everyday. Tried to book the restaurants as soon as we arrived which you have to do on thier app with a code you get when you check in. But unfortunately the Greek was only available on our last night and we couldn't get booked in to the Italian at all as it was fully booked. Beach was nice, but drinks were limited to local beer or wine, no cocktails or spirits. The only food at the beach bar was sandwiches which were just left to bake in the sun all day and you could get a hot dog at 3pm. All of the pools are beautiful but there was no staff walking around collecting rubbish or empty cups, so had to clear away other people rubbish a few times. This place is not for early risers! Nothing opens till 10am, not the gym, the pool bar, the shop, only breakfast. The final nail in the coffin for us was the fact that we checked out around 10am as checkout was 11am. We thought we could enjoy the rest of the day on this all inclusive resort, only to have our wrist bands cut off when we checked out of our rooms and was told we would have to pay for any food or drink from this point. We have never had this done to us on an all inclusive resort before. We won't be returning.

I will write about the hotel when we return in a couple of days but wanted to say a few words about the spa and the therapists. The staff are lovely and although a little expensive it is worth it. I had a facial and the foot and leg massage and the aloe massage. The foot and leg was amazing - pain I have had for weeks in my feet just went and thank you Helen - very knowledgeable and also very good with the massage. The facilities are lovely - an oasis of peace and tranquility. The products are excellent too.

I enjoyed a massage from Helen and felt invigorated from the moment I left the spa. Helen worked really hard and gave lots of advice and information. Her passion for her job shows and she certainly ensures you leave feeling much more relaxed. You won't regret a visit at all - in fact I think I'll feel the benefit for a long time - especially in my knees - ready to climb more steps and hills during my holiday.

Helen was amazing, that massage was very deep and definitely helped me feel less stressed, tense and heavy within my shoulders and back. No headache since the scalp massage and my face looks a lot better since the facal. Ladies, treat yourself it is worth the price and the products are amazing too. Also, the pools, jacuzzi and sauna with complimentary drinks were the icing on the cake. What a lovely day of relaxation and much needed body therapy.

I stayed at Ajul Hotel with my family for our vacation and we were super happy with everything. The service was amazing, and the staff were extremely polite, kind, and always ready to help. The hotel has great facilities and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was always fresh, very delicious, and high quality. Drinks and beverages were also excellent, really premium quality. The only small thing is that it was not easy to reserve at Ambrosia Restaurant (a la carte), but the Thimari Restaurant was great and we enjoyed it a lot. From the staff, I want to give special thanks to Giannis, Anastasia, the cab driver Antonis, and the Albanian mechanic who helped me and my family a lot. They were all wonderful. The rest of the staff were also very kind, except for one girl with darker color at Thimari Restaurant who was not respectful, but the Ukrainian woman there was super polite and kind. The location is very beautiful, with the only small issue that the beach is a bit far, so you need to take the hotel transportation or your own car to go there. The Wi-Fi worked well, but I think there is still room for improvement to make it even better. Overall, it was an amazing family vacation. We felt very welcome, had everything we needed, and left with great memories. I truly recommend Ajul Hotel and I will be happy to come back again.

We had an amazing stay in Ajul Luxury Hotel & Spa. I dont understand people complaining of the hotel. I was a bit worried reading negative reviews... this is just not true for us. As a family with one kid 1.5 years old, we enjoyed every single moment in the hotel. We had ZERO issues! The stuff is super polite and professional! Our room was gorgeous, we had Private bungalow room with land view which actually was a sea view. The room is huge and modern. Clean, with everything you need including Illy espresso machine which is re-stocked every day. Nice big balcony and perfectly working AC. Bathroom was also big one with everything you need in it. The hotel have GORGEOUS gardens! Everything is so beautiful there so we didn't had to leave the resort at all. We were perfectly satisfied with all we had inside. The water park is great. The food is delicious in all restaurants. In the main buffet restaurant you can enjoy wide variety of everything that comes to your mind... for example for a week the fishes that was served was cod fish, salmon, Gilt-head bream, seabass, sword fish... not excluding shrimps, octopus, squid. For meat lovers.... duck bests, slowly baked lamb and many more. A ton of different salads every day. If you have space in your stomach you can try their wide varieties of bread, always fresh and crunchy. Ala-cart restaurants are easily booked via the App you receive during check in. Internet is perfect everywhere even on the beach! Yes... the beach is rocky... but the water is crystal clear! Always available sunbeds, extremely polite stuff on the beach. For a week stay... there was no single wave until the last day. Also you can bring your snorkels as near the rocks you can find even parrot fishes and even one sweetlips fish which was so unexcpected :) Cocktails... we were just in front of Ananas bar... great cocktails and chill music. Everything you need for a really relaxed holiday!!! We would visit again next year for sure!

The Ajul Luxury Hotel is very suitable for families with children of all ages. The hotel staff is very dedicated and makes every effort to provide you with a pleasant vacation. Although we spent more time at the reception for accommodation, having problems with the bank's transaction limit, we left pleasantly impressed because a free upgrade was not offered, of course within the limits of availability. Even the parents benefited from a quieter room. The private villa rooms are very beautiful, spacious and the private pool offers privacy. At the main restaurant the food is very tasty and diverse. At the specialty restaurants a reservation is required a few days in advance. The beach is very beautiful, but it has stones and requires beach slippers. to get to the beach there are 2 possibilities, either on foot (about 10 minutes), or with the hotel minibuses that provide free transportation from in front of the hotel. Transportation can be a disadvantage if you are staying at the bottom of the hotel. Of course, for the picky, there are also things that can be improved.
