The Palms - Seraya Shores Retreat Bali

It was set on beautiful place just on the sea shores with great sea views, the rooms were big and spacious but there is a big need for renovation and maintenance. It’s a bit quite far from city. Apart from that the were really amazing very hospitable very sweet staff of Seraya.

A bit renovating and maintenance

The location is stunning. Everything else was disappointing. I’ve been wanting to visit Seraya Shores for years, but it is sadly shabby. Gardeners attempt to keep up with the beautiful gardens, but housekeeping is not - the whole place feels dirty and dilapidated. There are no fridges in the rooms, the Wi-Fi worked after I asked it to be rebooted, there is a menu (photo attached) but no discernible restaurant (or reception). Warung Chic to the north east is the closest food (minimal menu).

Lack of cleanliness and food.

The breakfast is wonderful, the shower is the most interesting I have ever seen. The room is spacious, the view is amazibf and the shared pool is perfect for zen and relaxation. I wanted to stay longer in this place. It is quiet, ideal if you want to relax and rest

The only thing that bothered me personally was the proximity to the ocean. Every wave at night can be heard very loudly and can be disturbing (although I really love the sound of the waves) because they are quite strong.

Sleeping with nothing but the sound of sea was something else.. Surroundings were beautiful. The house was comfortable with few minor issues. Also they helped us to get scooter when we needed it. Highly recommend this place if you want to visit Bali but do not want all the mass of tourists with beatuful view and comfy house.

We stayed for 7 days and staff provided all the same breakfast every day. Some things are just broken there and needs renovation.

The view of the ocean from our bedroom window was spectacular. The resort was not full and at times it felt like we were the only ones there which was a huge bonus.

Stained linens Please note!!! When booking this resort through the booking website, it gives the impression that if you book the Sea Breeze Villa, you get the large private Terrace. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. You only get the terrace if you have the ground floor of the villa. The upstairs room at the Sea Breeze Villa has no outside space at all. I booked the Sea Breeze Villa for the large private terrace but it was occupied when we arrived and so had to take the upstairs room with no outside space and this was hugely disappointing. Also, I had already paid for the terraced room and did not get any compensation for having the smaller non terraced space. I was not happy.
