Morizuya

Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient parfaits : délicieux et joliment présentés. Le patron de l'hôtel était très sympathique et très disponible pour nous.

Courteous and friendly staff, the kaiseki meals (and sheer selection- even for someone with food restrictions like my husband), the availability of two on-site onsen (the cave was very nice, but the outdoor one was our personal favorite), and the central location and proximity to two of the public baths! We didnt take advantage of it, but the owner very kindly offers luggage transport to the train station the morning you check out using his car as well! Again, service above and beyond expectations.

Nothing really. This was our first ryokan style stay anywhere and this has set the bar of expectation incredibly high for the future.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer sind schön und das Essen ist sehr gut. Ich empfehle mindestens 2 Nächte zu bleiben. Wenn man alleine reist, macht der Gastgeber gerne Fotos. Kimonos können anprobiert werden.

Es un lugar bastante bien ubicado dentro del pueblo y para llegar y ubicarlo es muy sencillo. El staff del hotel me trató muy bien en todo momento y fueron muy atentos en general, Cuando llegas incluso te dan una sugerencia del recorrido que puedes hacer en los baños de todo el lugar y te dan un QR para que accedas a todos esos lugares. En general el check-in fue muy sencillo solo necesite el pasaporte. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar con ellos.

A decir verdad no recuerdo si venía en alguna información antes de reservar pero tuve que dar un pequeño pago al final que solo aceptaban efectivo.

Stayed at Morizuya Inn and honestly, such a comforting experience. The hospitality is super warm,the owner is incredibly kind and makes you feel at home right away. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town, so it’s really easy to walk to all the onsen houses. They even have an in-house tea ceremony, plus their own cave onsen and outdoor bath, which makes the stay feel extra special. The whole place has that classic old ryokan charm, very clean, quiet, and peaceful. everything just feels calm here. Definitely one of those stays you remember for the feeling, not just the place.

馬桶的蓋子自動升降壞了 退房時間要早上7點略為不方便 不知道跟老闆溝通的話能不能提早

I had a pleasant and relaxing solo stay in Kinosaki Onsen and I am glad I chose Morizuya as the place for my stay. The owner, Hachi-san, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Food was plentiful for breakfast & dinner, the private baths at Morizuya were beautiful and relaxing, the room was very clean and comfortable, and there were even kimonos available to choose to wear for women. Unbelievable value! Women get access to choose from a vast collection of beautiful kimonos (all from the owner's mother's collection), haori, obi, and hair accessories. Hachi-san was kind enough to pick out some recommended designs and colors for me, it was fun! I watched a few videos on how to put on a kimono and gave it a try. I'm sure if you ask the staff, they would be willing to help too if not occupied. The owner offered several times to take pictures for me, which is a huge help for a solo traveler - when arriving for the first time, when I went out dressed in my chosen kimono, and even when I left Kinosaki! So kind! Kinosaki is beautiful and fun to stroll along the streets and look at various shops and try out the different public onsens, which is included in your stay. An excellent stay, and definitely a highlight of my trip!

While food was plentiful for dinner, the flavor was okay. I do appreciate that it was nutritious and was veggie-heavy. I did like the breakfast selection better. I felt that the staff in the dining room became inattentive of foreigners if there were Japanese guests present. I sometimes had to wait a while to call on staff to refill drinks, etc. I also wish the staff would elaborate more on each dish being presented as I like to learn about the different ingredients/types of food being served. But, I understand Kinosaki is a tourist destination, and this may be an area staff would rather not expend energy.
