Camping Pods, Birchington Vale Holiday Park

Loved everything about the park especially the staff. Such kind people all of them

The glamping pod we stayed in was a little dirty. Crumbs on the bed, quite a few ants (I understand this is normal for this time of year) but the staff were fast to respond and took my complaint seriously and professionally when I reported it to the bar. Couldn't be happier.

Very disappointing...pods are nearly £60 a night for a glorified shed with zero facilities. No TV, no sink, no storage, no kettle, no fridge...and barely room to swing a cat. Toilet block is a few minutes walk away through trees but at night is a nightmare with almost no lighting and huge roots to catch you out. I've stayed in pods before but would not have booked if I'd known this was the situation here. Staff are lovely but the food and WiFi are expensive. Also be aware it's impossible to walk on the surrounding roads. Also check out is at 10am not midday.

Loved the pod but didn’t like where it was. It was right near the entrance so you could hear the traffic and surrounded by caravans so not really relaxing as I had hoped.

The accommodation needed somewhere to store things especially food as there were ants everywhere even before we took food in there. It was a bit of a trek to the toilet and facilities but that was to be expected. The restaurant was limited and entertainment not that good. The only show we saw (so my judgment is limited) was a young girl singing half heartedly to a backing track.

It was fresh, clean, relaxing, calming and simple with excellent and cheerful reception staff.
