Wow! This accomodation was more of a splurge for us as we visited Japan for our honeymoon and we wished we would have spent more time here. They offered a shuttle service from a ropeway station so getting here was easy. They also provided a complimentary welcome drink when we checked in that we enjoyed on the porch. The staff was amazing: attentive, helpful, and kind. The meals were absolutely amazing- we left dinner with a midnight snack! The private onsen was lovely. They provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge. What a delight this stay was.

All excellent staff, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. From the day we arrive until departure. Superb!!! The place is truly a zen. Bedroom is sparkling clean. Food is michelin level. Private onsen at the balcony is heaven after all day tour. Highly recommended! We will stay at the same hotel in future. Thank you Zen!

The staff members were all so friendly and nice. The private onsen and bedroom were very nice. View of Mt. Fuji from the onsen was unbeatable!

Close to Ubako ropeway but overall still a slight trek to Gora or the lake.
