Hotel Fuki no Mori

Traditional "onsen" hotel stay with traditional Japanese dinning experience.

Could only have a Japanese breakfast.

Everything was great! Allowed tattoos(tasteful) in the Onsen and Rotenburo. Food was a million small courses of stuff I've never tried so if your picky this might be the only negative.

O espaço e o ambiente

Wonderful small hotel in the forested Kiso Valley, the Japanese “Alps”. Rooms were very comfortable, the food — breakfasts and dinners — were truly authentic mountain food. The staff were amazing. There’s a very nice Onsen, and also a totally charming private bath house you can reserve, for a relatively small fee for a coed private experience. My wife and I sat in the tub during a hard rain and it was just incredibly relaxing— and charming.

A minor cavil: the hotel seemed have a lot of lights on. For a quiet hotel out in the country, my wife and I would have preferred less — or at least more muted — ambient light. Especially in the Onsen

Beautiful location and facilities. The baths with the cold plunge and saunas were top notch. The food was very good. Great common room to relax in.

It's harder to get to. Also do not get the massage. It's more of a light touch pushing and called an adjustment. Not worth the time or money.

Everything! Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent! Food was wonderful !

Outdated in some areas.

The staff were very good, The onsen was excellent and so was the dining

The view was an interupted view, the building was in need of tlc and it was out of the way without real benfits to the isolation
