Amskou Camp

The tents were nice and clean. The dinner was really delicious. The camp was far away from other camps which we liked and the dunes were just a 15 mins walk away. Pick up was punctual.

We booked a 4x4 private tour with Ali after another couple recommended it to us. The tour was supposed to be a 5 hour tour, but Ali left after about 2 hours already. He left us with a driver who barely spoke any English. After about 3 hours into the tour, it already ended with the last part just driving on the main road instead of through the dunes. During the tour, Ali was on his phone all the time. When we asked questions, we had to repeat ourselves because he didn't pay attention. The sights we went to were nice, but the tour was very overpriced for the quality. Afterwards, we told Ali how we felt about the tour, and he got very defensive. I would not recommend this tour.

The camp is a bit outside the dunes, you have to walk 20 minutes to reach dunes.

+ really on point decoration + exceptional tasty dinner + the staff is amazing! All polite, funny, really attentive. They care in the best way! It is NOT "TOO MUCH" so that you feel "awkwardly watched like a child" + Ali is the best tour guide you could imagine. If possible, let him show you the area + perfectly organized and reliable

The property is very well decorated, maintained and the rooms are super comfortable. The location is good as well. Near to the dunes. Food is great and the service is friendly. It’s was an excellent deal - cost x benefit. Nnourddine was our host and he is a very good person. Thank you!

I would like to have more information about activities and what to do around. We paid for the desert tour with the 4x4 car and I think it was overpriced for what do you get.

The place seemed magical, with no one around and a great view on the dunes. Walking distance to the first dunes was approx 15min. The food was truly amazing, rooms super clean, very friendly staff. Local owner, small business, everything is there to make the visitors happy

What an experience!!! The food, the bedding, the facilities and indeed the service. Such genuine kindness from all the staff and indeed Mr Ali! I have traveled all over the world, but must admit that these two days have been one of the best I have vacationed anywhere in the world! Take a chance on Amskou Camp and I guarantee you will absolutely love it!

We spent two nights at Amskou Camp and WOW!!! Ali was beyond kind and accommodating. We arrived without having booked any activities, and he made sure that we did everything that we wanted - private tour in a 4x4, quad tour in the dunes, sunset camel riding. The camp is separated from the others in the area, which adds to the overall majesty of the experience, and the food for breakfast and dinner was fresh and filling. The tent itself was amazing with very comfortable beds and the hottest water that we’ve experienced thus far in Morocco. Can’t wait to come back soon 🤩

Unbelievable value. Very difficult to differentiate between other camps but Amskou has the major upsides of being apart from other camps and having non-camel transfers included. Aside from that, the food is excellent (and lots of it), camp decor is done with taste and it was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended!

The location is superb, the food delicious, the music and fire wondefful. it is a smaller camp away from the other ones giving a great sahara sand dune experience. Ali and his staff were great. Stay at least 2 nights to get the full experience.
