Moselle at Seton Sands Edinburgh

Nice caravan as represented in the photos. It’s in a good location just a short walk from the play park and main arcade/ entertainment area. The caravan was clean and tidy. For days out to North Berwick/ Musselburgh/ Edinburgh it’s ideal.

I didn’t like having to pay a £100 deposit beforehand, never had to do this before. As a family with 2 children we planned on booking “Holiday Passes” via Haven. Our holiday was only registered with Haven on the day we arrived (2.5 hours before we checked in), by which time most of the activities were fully booked. There was no point buying the passes as we would only get use of the swimming pool and evening entertainment. We received our check in information from the owner 33 minutes before the check-in time, I didn’t like that as it all felt very last minute. The email from Haven had a different street name on it so we first spent 20 minutes trying to find it. Realised that the message from the owner said another street name (same caravan number). The Wi-Fi didn’t work the entire time we were there. With 2 kids this was a problem, I ended up having to use my own 4G and let the kids use the hotspot. We couldn’t use any streaming services on the TV like Netflix/ iPlayer. In the description there’s a coffee maker but no mention of what kind - we had to go back out once we arrived to get coffee pods (no instant coffee provided). There was no welcome book/ property instructions as you’d find in most accommodation. All in all it was a number of small things that put a dampener on it. The noisy neighbours next door didn’t help but nothing really could be done to prevent that. When we were cleaning up to leave I cut my hand open on the broken-in-half metal broom, that was the icing on the cake.
