Nice and quiet and oh so cute! You could really tell the owner/staff took great care of the property. Very comfortable bed and bedding.

Could have used a decaf coffee, as there was only one regular packet. (No big deal though, I usually have an herbal tea bag with me.) Also, there was no hot water in the sink. The shower had hot water, and, we let it run a while but there was no hot water for washing at the sink. Weird :)

This no-frills motel sits on what was a main highway before the Interstates arrived. As such, it's a bit dated but so clean we couldn't even find a speck of dust in the corners. Given that the pleasant manager counted the towels provided and warned us that we would be charged if any went missing, we were surprised to find them so worn but pleased that they included washcloths. We were also impressed by the full-size microwave and apartment-sized (not mini bar) refrigerator and the cellphone charging station by the bed. One piece of advice: If you pay by credit card, you can avoid being charged the $250 damage fee. Granted, it's refundable, but still it's something of an insult. Oh, and for "long-term stays," meaning two or more night, you'll have to make up your own room.

Staff was engaging which I always appreciate. She was willing to provide recommendations for breakfast and dinner.
