"Delightful Ryoken hotel with private onsen and amazing food"

Fantastic Ryoken hotel that far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a warm welcome and given a tour of the hotel. The room was enormous and nicely laid out and the star was our own private onsen that was a wonderful treat. The hotel had a communal onsen as well which was a good size including an open air bath with a beautiful garden. The dinner was absolutely incredible, so many delightful dishes beautifully presented and definitely a highlight of our stay. The buffet style breakfast had a good range of options and delicious food. The reception even arranged for us to be collected from the station and a free shuttle to the snow money park and back. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, the attention to detail, care and memories will stay with me forever.

Extremely comfortable and spacious, traditional accommodations. Staff were friendly and so helpful. The meals and onsite outdoor onsen were fabulous! Great location to see the apple orchards, hiking and skiing as well as the monkeys. A fun place to visit.

Staff was amazing! So nice and went out of their way to help us. The shuttle was a huge bonus, really easy and able to accommodate our timelines. The in room onsen was delightful!

During our trip to Japan we stayed in 19 different accommodations, this was by far the most helpful & welcoming staff! The dinner was spectacular & the outdoor onsen was an extra special treat. Amazing shuttle service to the monkey park & to & from the train station, with a friendly & curtious driver. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Accoglienza davvero gentile e attenta, con uno staff che colpisce anche per l’inclusività e la cura verso le persone. La struttura mostra il passare del tempo, ma proprio questo le dà un fascino autentico. Camere spaziose e un sento pubblico con vasca esterna semplicemente incredibile. Perfetto per una o due notti in zona.

Un pochino da rimodernare.
