Sehr netter Empfang: Die ganze Belegschaft hat uns mit einem Lied empfangen.Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Morgens und abends werden Game Drives angeboten, die von kenntnisreichen und freundlichen scouts geführt werden. Tolle Erlebnisse, 4 der Big Five gesehen! Wir waren 2 Nächte hier, einen Abend gab es Büffet, den zweiten Abend a la cart, beides Top.

Keinerlei Beanstandung

That was superb! December appeared to be a low season and the place was not crowded. The room was great (yeah, minor imperfections due to usage, but in general just great), but what is more important the staff is making the mosts of your experience, and they are just super nice people. Everyone from the Makalali made our stead feeling like a 5-star experience being super welcoming, polite and helpful. Special thanks to Pilot who made it possible to track the rhinos which was a challenge. We also saw the lions, giraffes, elephants and many more animals and birds. I mean… that was my first safari experience and that was mega! Also the food was great. Managed to try ostrich (good one) and crocodile for the first time. Also the bonfire night was lovely. There are so many good words I’d like to say. Just try it. You won’t regret.

I can’t say I didn’t like something, the stay was just perfect. The only minor thing to know is that it takes additional 45 min to drive from the gates to the park (which is the major google maps pin) to the parking lot on a so-so gravel road. So either make sure you car has some reasonable clearance (Suzuki S-presso worked just fine) or ask the staff to pick you from the gates where you can leave your car securely behind the fence with guards in case the clearance is not enough. But again, this is a minor thing just to know for planning.

Minha estadia no Makalali foi simplesmente maravilhosa! A equipe é muito receptiva, a comida é farta e saborosa, os guias do nosso safari se esforçaram bastante e em apenas 2 dias vimos todos os big 5! No "quintal" do hotel recebemos visitas de girafas, elefantes, kudu e outros. Fiquei encantada. O banho é muito bom, a cama enorme e confortável e o serviço excelente. Recomendo, foi mágico!

Único ponto negativo é que os quartos são muito claros, pois o blackout é apenas no vidro da frente, e lá tem um vidro lateral também, o que dificulta dormir até mais tarde ou durante a tarde. Esse para mim foi o único ponto que eu aconselharia um investimento do hotel

Tudo maravilhoso, as refeições, os cuidados da equipe, guia do Safari. Dava para apreciar os animais da sacada do quarto

Le camere del main lodge sono fin troppo “essenziali” per essere 4 stelle; l’offerta del ristorante per colazione-pranzo-cena è di qualità e varietà minore rispetto a quella di altre guest house visitate nel resto del paese
