Het Kaseiki dinner was fantastisch en ook de buiten onsen heel fijn. Terug naar het station is steil bergopwaarts, niet te doen met bagage, we zijn gebracht, heel lief.

Er was geen aanwezigheid bij aankomst maar je kon wel je bagage achterlaten tot check in tijd In het dorp zelf is niets te doen, was vrij uitgestorven. Shibu Onsen wat vlakbij ligt (taxi of bus) is erg mooi.

Lovely staff, peaceful, clean, exceptional food, access to hot springs on site. The staff were so accommodating, happy to explain Japanese culture and traditions. Every item of food was explained. The keiseki meal was to die for!

The Onsen was really nice, the breakfast too. Nothing fancy, but still cozy. Good base to see the monkey park but you still need to take the bus to reach the park

We reserved a room for 2 her eon booking but then they said it was for a person only and we had to pay extra, but maybe is our fault or the description wasn't clear. If you arrive by train or bus and there is snow you have to walk some steep road (nothing unaffordable but better to know cause there is ice and you need proper shoes)
