It was clean

Felt cold. Had to go to the office for help to get heating on

Loved the peace and quiet ,I know there will be times when its not as quiet but we were lucky and got the right time to be there .the lodge was cosy and comfortable, just the job for a short break to recuperate surrounded by nature

Check in. i was 10 minutes early and felt member of staff was just awkward telling myself and others wait until 4pm ,but a different staff member gave me the keys to the lodge 1 minute after ,I found that annoying after a long journey

Location of the park Maintenance guys were polite

It was freezing on arrival at the beginning April. The tv was broken, weak power in the shower due to a hose leak, ants were all over the kitchen sides and floor, kitchen sideboard was old and aged as was the picnic table which we were unable to use and there were cobwebs on windowsills. There were no towels or toilet roll! Maintenance Staff brought a new tv, apologised for the freezing accommodation and sorted the heating. They told me that we supply our own towels and loo roll. The ants were so bad that maintenance had to visit again and then brought me a spray to use myself to get rid of them which was not ideal with a disabled child. I specifically e’mailed for a parking space as our foster child is disabled and the reply came after our return from Sandy Balls. Jacuzzi was not working. I have sent numerous e’mails to booking.com laying out the exact details of my stay without a single response or acknowledgement so have had no choice but to instruct the small claims court on 22nd May 2026 as this accommodation fell well below the expected standard for Booking.Com. I am not able to submit recordings here but I have sent them to yourselves. Should anyone require them again, please do not hesitate to contact me. The woodland location is lovely for walks/bike rides and exploring. It’s amazing for kids. Always something to do even when it rains. Our child took part in 3 of the studio classes and had a great time. The gym is also very good. All the staff were very friendly and informative.

The kids studio classes did sometimes feel a bit rushed at only half an hour. The pool itself is great but The showers were the worse thing about the place to be honest. They were scolding hot hot everytime we went (and we were there for 5 days) and it hurt my daughter’s skin. The pressure in the showers is also terrible. Not enough to even make yourself feel clean after the swim. We were the only ones in the showers and they were still like that so it can’t be down to usage. If the showers were fixed it would have been a much better experience all week as we Still needed to shower back at the cabin which was annoying.

I love where the location of the site it. Beautiful views and walks. Was close to peppa pig.

We paid allot of money for 3 nights and the lodge was very worn, dirty, stained carpets, rusty bathrooms. Couldn’t park infront of lodge. Outside needed a good clean. Staff seem clueless. Gave wrong keys at check in. Overall disappointing. Have been here on 3 occasions doubt I will be coming back.

The location of our unit was good. Close to the amenities and front office

We weren’t happy with the swimming pools. The pools are too small for the amount of people visiting. Our daughter was only allowed to swim for a certain length of time which was ridiculous. Using the outdoor pool was a joke. Too small and too many big floaters and noodles and adults playing volley ball left no room for kids to swim. Tv in room was faulty, fridge wasn’t getting cold, angel wing lights didn’t work. Not very well managed as a whole

Friendly staff. Clean accommodation and facilities. Beautiful and clean inside pool. Every thing you need for a family vacation available at resort.

Second bathroom and bedroom a bit too small. We slept in second bedroom.
