"Good location substandard accomodation"

Lovely location and felt very safe walking around. Easy access to surrounding areas.

Communication when telling staff about issues and then not passing it on correctly and in a timely manner. Accommodation had issues which were highlighted first day but not addressed until mid way through stay when I brought it up again at guest services only to be told it hadn't been logged. The told I'd be compensated and this didn't happen either.

"So disappointed."

Loved the area.

Have been to Sandy Balls at least a dozen times over 30 years. It's looking tired, lodges are crammed in ,no open space between and too many different designs. It looks a mess. Waited over an hour for food in the pub, it wasn't busy but too many takeaways to fulfill. Food was plentiful but poor. We didn't eat on site again. Passed 6 staff one morning whilst walking, not one "good morning". The standards have dropped. We love the area and will return but not to Sandy balls.

"Good to be back"

Wonderful to be back again and again to Sandy Balls. Staff were superb! Massive thank you to Emily who has changed our accommodation to suit our needs. She was very helpful and understanding and just so lovely to speak to. Entertainment team was great, we saw new faces this time and they were so good at entertaining kids and adults! Staff in the local shop were also really nice. Will absolutely return to the beautiful New Forest and amazing Sandy Balls.

The property we stayed in had a lot of space and felt very roomy and comfortable however the beds were not great at all. That’s the only thing we didn’t like, otherwise everything else was great!

Liked location and staff helpful

NO WIFI and you (booking.com) advertise with wifi. The site said they dont but you do so its booking .com that are misleading there. Enjoyed and beautiful location - this did cost double amount to similar 'away resorts' locations so wont be returning. Outsde pool closed even though sunny warm weather.
