The location is lovely. The bed was very comfortable.

The age of the property really shows. There was a lack of power points. The parking at the front blocks the view which defeats its one advantage. The bins need monitoring or a sign encouraging recycling which was ignored. The TV remote didn’t work. The noise from above was very loud there is no insulation. The noise from the air con in the stairwell was deafening. We were lucky it was a cool weekend.

Loved the location, the communication from the accommodation was fantastic and the apartment was as shown in the pictures online. The size of the room was comfortable and equipped as described. Parking was easy and right outside my room. The lake is literally across the road and so close to the town centre, beach and board walk. Kitchen was well equipped and communal BBQ was well used by other guests throughout my stay and seemed well equipped and a good space.

No in room heating other than a small floor heater, it did the job but was unexpected. The kitchen door out the back, backed onto a stair case for the upstairs room which was a little odd but didnt cause any issues. The bathroom did not have a conveniently located power point for the hair dryer.

The location is good, staff was helpful.

The apartment is poor condition, especially the bathroom, very old fittings all around. No sound insulation, you hear every single noise from the upstairs neighbours.

Although these apartments are old I was very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort. The bed was nice and firm. The hot water pressure and the shower were great. Bathroom and kitchen were very clean. I was even more impressed with the fact that the shower did not leak and drained properly. I've stayed in a number of 4 and 5 star hotels over the years and was always stepping in puddles of water when getting out of the shower. The modern designs definitely do not work as well as the good old hot and tiles 😁. The units are an easy work to town, restaurants and beach.

Unfortunately we had a family of elephants in the unit above us. Every step was very loud and actually shook the ceiling fan. I realise this is not something the unit managers can do much about but perhaps a note in the folder asking to respect the occupants below may help.
