Breakfast plenty and tasty. Gina is very friendly and makes sure your happy whilst staying there. Will visit again

Lovely home and the owner Gina, is a lovely and obliging lady. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Lovely area right on the water.

We were a bit cold when the heating went off. Parking was a bit hit and miss.

A warm, very clean and comfortable room. Gina was a welcoming and accommodating host and her breakfasts were delicious. Proximity to the A1 was perfect for our visit and the location by the sea in an interesting old port was a real bonus. Thank you Gina - we had lovely stay.

Nothing - all good

Old school B&B in the *best* possible tradition - this is the very best, esp the breakfast. We loved that we could make a base between beautiful E. Lothian and the capital. We were on a work trip but would recommend this as a base to appreciate this beautiful part of the world!

The host was extremely accomodating, the room comfortable and its location to the ocean perfect. The building has been refurbished and maintained at a high standard. It was standout accomodation during a long road trip.

There is nothing that detracted from our stay.

Full Scottish breakfast was fantastic

The landlady Gina was the best. Nothing too much trouble; warm, authentic and fantastic breakfasts!

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at The Anchorage and we’d definitely book up again when we go to Musselbrough races
