Glasgow Central Riverview Luxury Apartment (Sleeps upto 8)

The location is good and they were kind in letting us arrive earlier and there was a lot of extras such as shower gels, shampoos, tea, coffee and milk

It is not clean and it is cheeky to be taking a £50 deposit for cleaning. I had to chase up Mariusz with how to get into property so communication wasn’t great as you can’t leave a message as he clearly stated he won’t listen to any messages left! Also some of the reviews have complained about issues which are still not rectified. The pipes were first mentioned in 2022! They still are making a horrific noise. The laminate isn’t locked in at the kitchen and I slipped on it thankfully didn’t hurt my back. My mum and sister tripped on the carpet divider between hall and living room. A light in main bedroom not got a plug socket nearby so is useless at moment. Can’t use the en-suite shower due to the scalding water, the plug behind bed in twin room is dangerous as is switched on but is coming away from wall. I did message Maruisz on WhatsApp and know my messages have been seen but he has chosen not to reply. It’s a shame as the flat has such potential due to the location and it just needs a deep clean and some maintenance and would be lovely but think the property management are just resting on the laurels of the location and hoping as it’s just one night people will just put up with it. We certainly wouldn’t have stayed for two nights! I have contacted booking.com to complain as the bad reviews are making no difference. I normally don’t look that much at reviews as I find people can be picky but some of these issues are dangerous and need sorting. I have videos of the noise of the pipes and the main bedroom door which comes off of its hinge and makes an awful noise on shutting the door but you can’t attach videos unfortunately.

Good location to the hydro easy walk within 10 mins. Spacious flat with parking. Minimal noise from the road outside. Clear instructions from the host, however I did have to contact them for the info, thankfully was sent over straightaway follows by a call to make sure I got it.

Bathrooms dirty, sink area in kitchen dirty, floors needed hoovered. Dirty towel lying in bathroom. Lack of bedding, thankfully ended up only being 4 of us rather than the booked for 5, because we wouldn’t have had bedding for sofa beds

Very easy check in process and kind hosts. Apartment was in great location with a nice view and great stay overall.

The apartment was sizeable and well furnished, the bedding was comfortable and the facilities were good. Mariusz and Anna in particular were incredibly hospitable and welcoming.

We faced significant delays in our trip due to us struggling to access the apartment. During our stay we were instructed to find our keys in an outside box, but faced issues locating these keys after the lockers were removed by the property manager without the owners knowledge, resulting in both ourselves and other guests to be stranded outside of the apartment for nearly an hour. Additionally there was some minor wear and tear in the apartment, but nothing overly disruptive beyond some creaky plumbing. We also would've appreciated milk for the tea and coffee facilities.

Great location for the SECC / Hydro. Short walk. Parking included. Hosts let us gain early access as competing at a Hyrox. A few negative reviews from others but the apartment just needs a wee lick of paint. Other than that, it was great!

Taps do make noise when running them but if in shower just run the bathroom tap at same time and stops air in pipes. The en-suite shower couldn’t be used as couldn’t regulate the temperature

Location and price

Terrible loud fog horn noise every time you ran a tap or toilet. Lasted up to 5 minutes. How the neighbouring properties have not complained too I don't know. Property very dirty.

The location was perfect for a show at the Hydro. It was very clean and the beds were really comfy. Loads of space for my family and I.
